Disappointing with more than one mistake in service. A shame because in the past it has been consistently good.

We booked a table for 2 for dinner. Upon arrival, although they had our booking in the diary they could only offer us a table for 4. Rather strange - we sat at the corner of a large table. We ordered 2 glasses of champagne. The first ones were flat and we sent them back. They replaced them without hesitation.... More
Stayed with friends and ate in restaurant last night. Lovely welcome, cosy comfortable rooms with walk in shower. Great food - not an extensive menu but what we had was tasty. Breakfast good and everything you would want.
Called in one Saturday lunchtime and had a nice friendly welcome from bar staff, who once we had been given drinks, went through menu with us inc specials available. Food excellent and whole place just very comfortable and relaxed. Definitely a place to return to.
Booked for my birthday, table of 15, pre ordered as their was a few of us. Sat down at 7:30 but never got our meal until 9:00. We had 4 children who were starving. The food was really good, but the service was very poor, such a shame. We never had that problem when it was under Boisdale
Booked on Late Rooms .com Was £120 got for £89 with Breakfast. Had Twin room at the front with air/con SKY nesspresso machine + tea/coffe. We sat in the garden at lunchtime on the other side of the road, had the sharing meat platter (sausages, chicken wings, ribs, fresh scotch egg, fresh bread and salad) and home made fish fingers with chips.... They don't let you run a tab if sitting outside which is sensible but quite a faff having to pay for everything separately. The menu was quite uninspiring but I chose the burger with added... More
We hadn't been to the Lamb for nearly a year and decided to pop in for lunch on our way back from holiday. We chose the sandwich option, which is good value when you consider the high quality of the bread and the fact the dish comes with chips and salad. However, our mozzarella, tomato and chard choice had no... More
