Came here for lunch on a sunny Saturday. We sat in the beer garden which is on the other side of a busy main road. They don't let you run a tab if sitting outside which is sensible but quite a faff having to pay for everything separately. The menu was quite uninspiring but I chose the burger with added... More

We hadn't been to the Lamb for nearly a year and decided to pop in for lunch on our way back from holiday. We chose the sandwich option, which is good value when you consider the high quality of the bread and the fact the dish comes with chips and salad. However, our mozzarella, tomato and chard choice had no... More

Went here for Sunday lunch. The staff are exception and they should all be congratulated. Between us we had the lamb and beef, both were very good with massive Yorkshire puddings. My grandson didn't want anything on the menu and they made him a sandwich, nothing was too much trouble. I recommend you give it a try.

Beautiful old pub, good quality food may be worth booking in advance as we were there on a Weds night and it was quite busy

Stayed here for two nights on a secret escapes offer. Lovely village pub with nice boutique rooms which are clean spacious and comfy. We found this place after reading other reviews and looking for somewhere to stop off the A303. Food was fantastic and pub has a really relaxed feel to it. Only negative comment would be that there was salt on the chips and I would have preferred to add my own. That said everything was home made and tasted delicious! On... More

Popped in for an impromptu lunch on a Saturday. We had the baby and the front of house chap found us a table where we had room to have him next to us. They also let us bring in the dog. Good sized lunch menu and reasonably priced. My wife had the battered cod and chips whilst I had the... More

The Lamb has been refurbished since we came last Easter. Saying that we have always found it to be good. This time was no exception. We met with friends who live 15 mins away for lunch. 4 adults and 4 children. Great choices on menu, and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything that was put in front of us. My husband... More

Lovely place to have either a quick meal or a special meal. My husband and I are local but had not been as a coupe before so thought we would give it a try for a birthday celebration meal. The food was lovely and a lot of thought had been put into each course. (My only disappointment is that there... More

Our fantastic team of chefs are taking the food at The Lamb to the next level. We offer beautifully cooked seasonal dishes throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. From delicious traditional British meals to a handful of dishes from different origins you are sure to find a dish to suit all tastes and appetite. Our delightfully lighter menu option in the bar area includes a sandwiches selection and boards during the day and home-made bar snacks with scrumptious scotch eggs and sausage rolls to have with a pint of Youngs or glass of wine. We serve food in our dining room and bar,we can accommodate whatever occasion you would like to share with us. Small social gatherings, business lunches or family feasts. But who needs an excuse to treat yourself, just drop by and simply enjoy a relaxing evening and let us make any day a special occasion.
