have always had a good experience however today service was poor with the food taking 40 minutes from order to table Chicken with stuffing was supposed to be boneless but was not and was slightly undercooked As we only have an hour for lunch there was not time to order desert or coffee

Modern, quiet and the perfect place to work from for an afternoon. Free wifi! Good food too! The power sockets for laptops and phones built into the table in the centre is a nice touch!

We found this place being tired and hungry and unable to find a nice village pub open at 5.45 on Christmas Eve. We saw the Holiday Inn and thought it a reasonable bet for half decent grub. Well they surpassed that expectation. Service and food were good - the meals were perfecty cooked and well presented ... and they were... More

We always come here for a family (19 of us) Christmas dinner the second Sunday in December. My dad loves it here and as he's paying this is where we come. I like the carvery and the choice of meats but am not a big fan of the veg selection. The Soups and rolls are nice and so are the... More

Went there for our Christmas do yesterday. Our group of 24 felt welcomed, we were split over two tables but I think most places would probably have to do that and as we were the only large group in there and I think the only ones eating anyway then this was no issue and we were all able to talk... Travelling westwards down the A303 just before Amesbury you will find the first speed camera on the road. Just before the camera is an exit into Solstice Park. Take it, straight over a couple of roundabouts, and then turn right at the third into an area full of chain restaurants. At the far end is the Holiday Inn, and the... More

Went here because it was quiet mid-morning. The coffee was the most expensive I believe I have ever bought - and I've had plenty of really great coffees in London. Pastries were too expensive to try out. Maybe that's why it's so quiet mid-morning? On the plus side, no problem finding a parking space.

Visited here for a business meeting . Service was charming but not enough people doing the coffees and bar. So I had to return to the bar to get a coffee after having sat down for a while. After I had been there for a while it was getting towards tea time I noticed how cold the restaurant was. If... More

Think Salisbury and youll think Solstice not the mid-summer phenomenon beloved of druids but the super chic Bar and Grill at Amesburys uber-modern Holiday Inn hotel. Situated only moments from the world famous site of Stonehenge, Solstice is glamorously modern, its sleek interior anything but pre-historic. One wall is shot through with a blaze of glass, providing countryside views in the day and inky black reflections at night, while the rest of the room is bright and spacious, furnished in monochrome and lit by low-hanging chrome lamps. Despite its futuristic styling the atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy and welcoming, thanks in no small part to the professional and friendly staff who ensure your every need is met during your visit, be it a swift lunch or a leisurely dinner. From the elegance and ease of a continental style croissant and cappuccino in the morning to the hearty modern European mains of evening dinners and the comforting familiarity of burgers and steaks, plus the well-stocked bar with its excellent wine list and numerous beers, Solstice is a venue for any occasion.
