Absolutely shocking customer service! I phoned up to order and was told that it was cash only and to order on the site. On receiving my delivery, I noticed I had the wrong order ( it was supposed to be chicken tikka masala but was...chicken on the bone). I phoned up the shop to notify them - then to my surprise received extremely poor customer service, the man at the other end of the phone telling me I did have the right order and if I wanted what I actually had ordered I had to pay for it with an attitude and no understanding or apology as to what I was trying to tell him. As I was that ravished to say the least by the time all this palaver took, I then paid for another tikka masala. To add to this - the chicken “pakora” I ordered looked and tasted like it had been purchased from Iceland. Will not be eating here again!More

First time we ordered from here and wish we didn’t bother, burnt naan bread, chicken tikka that tastes and looks like chicken korma. Called to say must have been a mix up but told this is their tikka, basically said I was lying about the...burnt naan bread and they asked me what I wanted them to do about it. Did offer 10% off next order but explained I won’t be ordering again, such a shame.More

Website blip rang to confirm I required a delivery order. Kind and courteous response. Food arrived and we live just over 3 miles from the restaurant, the food was piping hot. Makes a real change to have food arrive as if its straight out of...the kitchen. Great value for money and good portion sizes. I ordered something different than I thought I had. Food was delicious and will definitely be ordering from here again.More

Believe me when I say, this is by far the best Indian takeaway I’ve tried in all of Wiltshire. Restaurants is a different story. But in terms of Indian takeaways, this one is amazing. I ordered on a Thursday. They were really polite on the...phone, took my order, double checked everything, asked if I wanted anything else. Took the order and I paid by cash, there was a delivery charge to durrington but it’s only £1 which is a lot cheaper than many other places. Order came roughly 40 minutes later, when they said it’d take 45-60 mins, so very happy. The driver was very polite, so gave him a tip aswell. Then to top it off, the actual food. Best Indian takeaway I’ve had in so long. The masala is beautiful and the chicken tikka tastes delicious, not like chicken tikka I’ve had from other Indian takeaways. I wish I ordered more, I easily would’ve ate 2 chicken tikka masalas to myself, big portions aswell. Definitely ordering regularly from here.More

Well we decided to give this place a go due to the reviews I was hearing from friends and family So glad we did, as the other Indian in amesbury have got so expensive and there food quality has got so bad. The food here...was very nice full of flavour and decent size portions. My wife gets the biriyani and normally I'm not a fan of this but here I took her leftovers to work. My curry was good lovely heat and flavours aswel. Will definitely be backMore

Order food at 18:00hrs still waiting at 20:20hrs phoned Amesbury spice told it would be about another 20 minutes so nearly 3hrs, I can’t eat Indian food after 20:00hrs I cancelled the order, Chef on line then rang me to tell me I would have...to wait about a week for refund. This is the second time out of 3 I’ve had to wait over two and a half hrs. will not use Amesbury Spice or Chef on line again. If Amesbury Spice can phone me to tell me don’t forget the £1 for the driver they could also say sorry you may have to wait two and a half hours for you food. Worst takeaway and delivery service I’ve had.More

I rate the food here amongst the best Indian's I've ever eaten and is always my first choice of takeaway. I can recommend the Chicken Shah (not on the menu but they will adapt the Lamb Shah on request) and the Chicken Biryani is also...pretty amazing. Always served with a friendly smile and acknowledgement of your custom.More

Completely disappointed in the food, the pakoras were just fried chicken dippers, the chicken tikka masala didn't taste of anything, the tandoori mixed grill was horrendous. Looked nothing like it does in the menu photographs. Complete waste of money.

I've never posted a negative review prior to this evening but tonight my meal was a huge disappointment. We ordered two pasanda curries and a tikka masala. We honestly couldn't tell the difference. All of them were watery, tasteless, exactly the same taste, exactly the same...colour and all incredibly spicy. Pasanda is supposed to be a mild, sweet Yoghurt dish. It was too spicy to eat. I had to add several spoonfuls of Greek Yoghurt before I could even put a spoonful of the curry in my mouth. Even then it was too spicy! It went in the bin as it was inedible. The only difference between the tikka masala and the pasanda, was the two raisins added to each pasanda dish. Aside from that they all tasted the same! We've tried these same two dishes from many different curry houses over the years and have never experienced such a spicy, disappointing meal. Next time I will spend my £30+ order in Tandoori Nights where you are always guaranteed a fantastic meal.More

This place does not look like a palace but the food is very good, the guy that owns it is so polite and knows how to cook, it is a pleasure to pick up your food and have a chat-10/10

We used this place whilst we lived in Amesbury, and even after we moved into a neighbouring town (and tried the local Indian there) we decided we 100% preferred this place. Luckily there still deliver for free to where we are now, the portions are...a good size, the dishes themselves are always well made and super tastey. Wait time is never to long (they usually say an hour, but most of the time it’s at your door in 30mins) the delivery men are always really friendly when you call in your order and when they drop it to your door. 100% give it ago, well worth it!!!More

Having moved out of the area 6 years ago whilst visiting family we ordered a take away. Our order was:- Popadams and pickles, Chicken Tikka Massala, Chicken Jalfrezi, Chicken Korai, Ckicken Lucknow, Chicken Dhansak, Pilar rice, Mushroom Rice, Nan Breads, Mushroom bajee, Bombay Potato, Onion...Bajee, Sheek Kebab, and the infamous Chicken Bengal (I have been searching for this dish locally for a long time, its my all time favourite curry). We made our order and agreed to collect. We were told 30 minutes, on our arrival it was just being bagged up. The food was excellent, very tasty and the sauces had an amazing texture, my chicken Bengal was spot on!! my wife is not really a curry eater, she has recently tried Tikka Massala, on this occasion she had the Chicken Lucknow, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well worth a visit, we will return soon. Having tried other takeaways and restaurants in Amesbury, this one is definitely the best in the town. The customer service was great, Thank you.More
