Avid fans of the Bettys brand we opted for neighbouring Ilkey much closer than the regular trek to the mother ship in Harrogate. So no need to dash through those streets today as we could amble along through Ilkley having located our destination with ease albeit on arrival a tad woeful refurbishments were still underway. Once seated across the table... More

Two of us visited for afternoon tea. Staff were friendly and helpful. Tea arrived, didn't look to be that much, but pleasantly surprised at just how much we were full up after getting through the sandwiches, scones, cakes and great cups of tea. Really surprised by the mix of clients, expecting an older female profile but delighted to see a... More

Nice atmosphere. We had to wait about 30 min as we walked in without booking in advance but that didn't matter. Staff swamped with customers didn't paid us much attention. Over all was a nice experience, I would recommend it.

We visited Betty's during a weekend away for afternoon tea, a Christmas gift from my boyfriend's mum. The staff were lovely and we luckily only had to wait for 10 minutes for a table - we timed it just right as the queue was much longer when we left! The weather was dreadful and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming... More

This was my second visit to Betty's in Ilkley having previously visited a few years ago with a group of girlfriends. It was a shame the front of the tearooms was being refurbished at the time of our visit but otherwise everything was just as I remembered it. We were seated straight away in a lovely seat by the window.... More

The afternoon tea was well presented with regular top up of hot water, excellent quality of sandwiches & cakes. The service was excellent with menu provided whilst still queuing. We queued for about 15 minutes so not aware if reservations can be made. We will return !

I stopped by here to buy some loose leaf tea and am so happy that I did The tea itself is of the highest quality and this is a genuinely great authentic British experience.

We always visit likely when we have something to celebrate, first for out engagement, then for buying our wedding rings and on this occasion for us buying our first house. We have been a few other times and to a few other branches. Food is always amazing and drink is too always lots of choice. Staff are lovely

Have eaten here several times, always first class food, it`s not the cheapest, but the quality, is second to none. The service is first class, and attentive, but never intrusive. The only downside is if you hit it at the peak times, you do have to queue, but surely that proves how good the place is. Try the breakfast, you... More

A famous name that's living more off reputation than the variable quality of what's on offer. Still good for tea blends, expensive as they are, but the fish and chips is a real insult - frozen chips and poor, thin fish. There are better cafes in Ilkley.
