First ever visit for us and it will not be the last. Fantastic staff and 5* service. We had cheese and onion pie from the children's menu and my hubby had the rib eye steak, whilst sat watching the ducks swim by on the canal. Food was delicious, fresh and plenty of it.

At last the stubbing wharf has reopened after the devastating Boxing Day floods of 2015. Total re-fit of this establishment very tasfully done with period decor, handful of hand pulled ale's, largers on draught, nice friendly staff, good quality food presented artfully. Good value for money. Pity it was raining hard most of the day as we would of sat... More

We have been too the Stubbings several times before the flooding and always found the presentation and quality of the food second to none. However on two occasions since reopening we feel it has lost its touch. The prices have increased and the quality of the food has deteriorated. The meat on the Sunday dinner is tough and extremely difficult... More

the food was lovely, the staff was nice and polite and it was lovely and clean. A family friendly bar/restaurant with fabulous canal side position and some great walks literally on the doorstep.

My wife and I decided to have a little run over to Hebden Bridge and after a couple of hours wandering around, browsing the shops and Farmers Market, we decided it was time for lunch. The first place we went to was the Shoulder of Mutton but we were told there would be an hours wait for food so we... More

So glad we took a walk out of the town centre to find this hostelry. Arrived late Saturday afternoon and took table 7 which they needed back as all the rest of the covers were reserved. Always a good sign and we weren't disappointed. My wife had an open Seafood lasagne and I had Fish n Chips which could only... More

I've been a regular patron of the Stubbing Wharf for over two decades. After the recent floods and the long-running refurbishment, myself, partner and dog ventured down to eat on a Friday night. The table was booked in advance and the food and beer were excellent as usual. The Stubbing Wharf is now more food orientated than it was prior... More
