It was a great lunch. We all had different chicken dishes and all were good, particularly the chicken with jalapeños. The margarita was pretty tasty too!

I have to admit that, in general, I find Nicaraguan food a bit lacking in flavor, especially compared to Mexican food, which is my favorite! But Comedor Margarita (Now called Las Flores) has some really delicious things on the menu like Jalapeno chicken, and dedidos...More
We ate two times at this place and it was delicious. We took fish and it was really tasty and very good size. The place is simple but friendly, clean. We saw locals and tourists eating there so it's a great mix. The place is...More
Comedor Margarita is a favorite in SJdS. The menu is pretty standard (chicken, rice, etc), but the food seems tastier than at other similar restaurants. The super low price is hard to beat, too. The jalapeño chicken is especially good.
off the main road, so prices are decent, portions are great, delicious and very authentic. was reccomended this by the receptionist at hostel and have since told many people about it ;)
Friendly. Not much English, but we all tried our best. lol Had chicken burrito - the best! Tried other places in Nicaragua for the same dish, but this place is unique. And terrific! 2 orders, 2 beers = $11 (including tip!)
The only place in town that serves fish worth tasting! Very good and cheap plates, lots of options, cheap drinks, very kind service. It's better if you speak a little spanish to help order. Very typical!

We spent a little over a week in SJDS and the food was generally hit and miss. The options on the beach were ok, overpriced by Nica standards. Magarita was a really good option for reasonably priced seafood or lunch fair, breakfast was not too...More
Really taste food (try the fried chicken), but maybe show up half an hour before you get hungry. Service is really slow, even if it's not busy.
