Entertaining as well as tasty. More than just a meal, it is a specula event for our family as the food is made by talented chefs right at your table/grill.

My husband and I were hungry for Sushi and this restaurant is about 15 minutes from home; so it is a local favorite for people that like hibachi and Sushi. The sushi we ordered did not disappoint us; was fresh, flavorful, and wonderfully displayed on the plate. My husband likes a more spicy food than I do, and all of... More

Disappointing- my wife and I came here for a date night last week. We were both hopeful and then quite bummed. We ordered some sushi as appetizers and then ordered the steak hibachi. The sushi did not seem fresh AND there was no hibachi "show" with our dinner. The chef cooked everything OK- the steak was good, but there was... More

Had sushi/sashimi and shumai. Food was good and priced accordingly, but I just had a hard time getting over the decor. I can't really explain it other than thinking about someone that decorates their yard with white stones and flamingos and thinks their yard is the best on the block.

We tripped over this place while staying at the hotel at the bottom of the hill. My son was in the mood for sushi and we peeked in to see a nice crowd inside. The food was very good for what looks like a "hole in the wall." The decor is outdated and the layout is odd but the sushi... More

Highly recommended. Good, relaxing atmosphere (even though they never play music)! Great food and decent prices. Good place to go to for hibachi in the Hummelstown and Hershey area.

this is similar to other hibachi places--nothing unique, but is a fun place for dinner with family or friends. the chef does some of the classic hibachi tricks while cooking (e.g. steam onion) and the food is quite tasty. i had the shrimp and chicken--done perfectly.

Tokyo diner is a chain restaurant with consistent but typical Japanese fare. There's an assortment of raw and cooked (mostly Americanized) sushi rolls, appetizers, and mocha icecream. We have done both sushi and hibachi here and the hibachi experience is typical. They do offer bento boxes at lunchtime.

We hadn't been here in a long while, as our previous experience when it was Tokyo Diner was less than spectacular. With the new name, we decided on a whim to give it a try. We were not disappointed. As others have pointed out, they do need to do some remodeling to spruce up the atmosphere (thus the Very Good,... More
