In town for business I found rock bottom as it was close to the hotel. Bob the bartender was great! The selection of hand crafted beer was nice, something for everyone. The pretzel bites and fish chips were really good. The bar was fairly crowded, it was happy hour, but everyone was friendly.

We stopped for dinner on a late Sunday afternoon. They weren't busy. We walked in and the two hostesses just looked at us, never welcomed us to the restaurant. We broke the silence and asked for a table for two. We were seated and our waiter showed up immediately and took our drink orders. My spiked hot chocolate arrived with... More

Great place for micro brews, food is really good. If you're seeing a show down at the waterfront this is a must for preshow.

Lots of beer varieties, noisy, sports on TV. Food is tasty. Lots of groups and people having fun. Beer gourmet, food not so much. Nice folks behind the bar and waiting tables.

We ate here with the six of us and had a ball. Nice nacho starter with good jalapenos, burgers and salad as entree and I personally had beef in beer with mushrooms. Was superb. Waitress Kayla was very friendly and with lots of humour. Beers are absolutely great, the best I've tasted in the USA!

We went for dinner for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the waitress was super helpful in recommending beer to pair with it. We will definitely be going back.

We live in the area and frequent Rock Bottom. We have always been greeted nicely and quickly, yes we have had to wait for a table at times, that is anywhere. But the service is always good, meals are done well. We have sat in the dining room, in the bar area and on the patio too. Always a good... More

Decided to go here for dinner since location was perfect for hotel (few blocks away) and The Library which we were attending for a concert. We didn't want to stray too far from both considering driving in Pittsburgh is not the easiest. Large place with lots of seating and menu choices (appetizers and main) was good, something for every taste.... More

My wife and I went to see a show in Pittsburgh Pa. on the 4th of this month of October at the Heinz Hall to see Sinatra and beyond, Great entertainment and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra was fantastic!. Afterwards we went to Rock Bottom Brewery to try it for the first time, Neil our server was a very polite and... More

I've had some hit-and-miss dinners here in the past, but my last couple of visits have made up for them. If you're a craft beer lover, they have one of the best brewers in the business here. The bar area is large and has nice pool tables off to the side if you're in the mood for a game. Connected... More
