Our family is very picky about the quality of sushi. We travel often and have eaten sushi in various cities and countries. We know what good sushi should taste like and our family all agrees that Sakura Do knows how to make good quality sushi....The restaurant probably could use a little updating, but it does not affect the quality of the sushi. It is really hard to find good quality sushi in Central PA, but you won't be disappointed by Sakura Do. The restaurant is also run by a very sweet and kind couple.More

I've been to many different sushi places and after recently moving to the Hershey area this is by far my favorite! Love the Tuans special roll and the Veronica roll!

When we go we always try to sit at the bar. We just let them make us whatever. I would recommend the Fuji mountain! Sometimes the service can be slow but I have never been disappointed in the food! Very friendly family owners!

We should've been scared off by the empty dining room during peak hours on a Friday, but the family wanted hibachi and this was the closest place we found to Hershey Park so we stayed. Second disappointment was that there were no hibachi tables and...all food was cooked in the back. Service was beyond terrible and the food took well over an hour to be served--and even then it came out one place at a time followed by intervals of ten minute waits before the next person was served their dish. Not sure how this place has such a high rating, but we would never ever eat here again.More

Quoth the raven, "Nevermore." While nothing tasted spoiled, nothing tasted fresh, either. The Naked Tuna roll was a krab stick, avocado , and tuna, in a thin sauce which I didn't like. The scallop ha droll did not have any recognizable scallop. I was afraid...to finish the nigiri.More

Was trying to improve my eating habits a few years back and decided to join my husband for sushi. Started with green mussels and now I am hooked on their sushi. Never thought in a million years that I would eat some of these combinations....Love the owners and enjoy trying new things. Would definitely recommend. Twan made me a believer!More

Twan is the owner and sushi maker. Sit at the sushi bar if there is space. He is great to talk to. He will ask what you like and prepare special rolls. We always get the same FABULOUS ones. Some are not even on the...menu. Try Twan's special, Fugi Mountain, TNT. We get some cooked and some raw.More

By FAR the best sushi I've ever had on the east coast. The most friendly staff, they remembered me after only one visit!

We went here for my daughter's 18th birthday. We are from out of town, visiting Hershey. We arrived on time for our reservation for 8 people. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks order to be taken, another 20 for dinner order. We waited another...hour for any food to arrive at the table, and everything came out one dish at a time, some entrees before appetizers. Anything cooked took longer, as the only waitress was also the cook. Orders were very confused, but we were so hungry, we just ate whatever came out. The sushi was fine, but not very creative or different. We noticed people sitting at the sushi bar getting served much faster than anyone else, and some people left after waiting too long. The waitress was very nice and apologetic, (she said that they were short staffed that night), but we were clear about our special occasion when we made the reservation. The special birthday sushi roll they promised was the last thing to arrive at the table. We would have made reservations elsewhere if we had known about how long it would take.More

My wife and I came here and had such a great time. We sat immediately, and we quickly got our drinks. We got mussels as an appetizer, a large spicy fish bowl, the naked tuna, and a quatros amigos. We were very comfortably full, and...ended up not going to the next place we had planned. I've read other reviews that had negative comments regarding things I've never once experienced. I grew up in the nearby neighborhood and have been eating here since they opened. Not that it should matter in regards to a review, but the Italian menu was taken out of the menu, and Italian food is culturally significant if you're familiar with food culture in Japan.More
