As usual the food and service was great. Today for lunch we were seated in the sunroom. The flies were having a party! Flies in a restaurant is not a good sign. Usually means rotting food or dirty kitchens. Patrons going in and out may only be part of the problem. At any rate, I told the server about it... More

We foolishly did not make a reservation because it was a Wednesday. As a result we had to wait for a half hour. The portions were very large and delicious. We all felt it was worth the wait.

Best gluten free food we have ever tried. This is a unassuming restaurant that shares a parking lot with a gas station and a strip mall. Don't let their appearance distract you from the amazing food within. All of their sauces and salad dressings are made in house. Their chef is a master at making gluten free bread and pizza... More

After a 10 hour drive we checked into our hotel across the street and walked over for a meal. No sidewalks from Hershey Lodge unless you go thru the residential area behind. It was only an hour away from closing time so place was not busy. Waitress was so nice and was cordial with us as we were trying to... More

I have been to this restaurant many times and it has something for everyone--a bar, a pizza side, a finer dining side--and the food is delicious with ample portions. Wait staff is wonderful, too!

Great gluten free dinner! Lasagna was amazing. Each dish had a gf label on plate. Bread was yummy. Great menu and options to choose from. Will be back!

We ate here twice during a recent visit to Hershey Park. Amazing gluten free options and I LOVED that the gluten free foods had a special tag on them.. We even ordered food to go and when we opened the bags the containers had the same labels! Thank you for providing us 2 safe and delicious dinners!

This is a popular local restaurant that gets quite crowded on the weekends. If you are used to New York-style Italian sauces and dishes, some of the fare may not measure up. But portions are tasty and very ample, and prices are reasonable. There is a pizza/sub part of the restaurant -- great for families with small kids -- and... More

We accidentally found Piazza Sorrento on our drive around Hershey, Pennsylvania. We found this little Italian restaurant to be very charming with very good service and wide variety of entrees to choose from . My husband ordered the veal paramigian that was very good and huge -- definitely enough for two. I had a shrimp linguini special that was very... More

They offer a fabulous fare for a reasonable price. The food is inspiring! I can not wait to go back. The service is good but the food is even better!

Description
Voted "Best New Restaurant" by Harrisburg Magazine in 2009, Piazza Sorrento is a modern Italian restaurant based on the "Old World" Italian recipes of the owner's family back in Italy. The Bolognese sauce they grew up on and the tradition of family is the cornerstone of the Piazza Sorrento dining experience. Dedicated to providing the finest in service, food, and wine at a fair and competitive price, Piazza Sorrento makes regional and classic Italian cuisine using premium local ingredients while keeping the history of the dish and region intact. Piazza Sorrento not only provides the best in authentic Italian cooking this side of the Atlantic, but also believes that all patrons, whether adults or children, should be welcomed like one big family - even those with certain dietary requirements. That is why Piazza Sorrento is widely known for their extensive Gluten Free menu, another reason patrons routinely drive over an hour or more to dine in relative ease and safety.
