We accidentally found Piazza Sorrento on our drive around Hershey, Pennsylvania. We found this little Italian restaurant to be very charming with very good service and wide variety of entrees to choose from . My husband ordered the veal paramigian that was very good and huge -- definitely enough for two. I had a shrimp linguini special that was very... More

They offer a fabulous fare for a reasonable price. The food is inspiring! I can not wait to go back. The service is good but the food is even better!

This place was off the charts fantastic! Everything was homemade: the pasta, sausage, bread and sauces. I had the grilled gnocchi which was the best gnocchi I have ever had. A real treat. My son had the taste of Italy which was a sampling of chicken parm, lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo. Portions were large, price was right, service was excellent.... More

Our decision to visit Piazza Sorrento was based on two factors. #1, great reviews and #2, the fact that they have a full gluten free menu. It was a fantastic experience. A fine mix of great food and great service. Our waitress was very attentive without being overbearing. We had our 3 year old son with us and our waitress... More

Some of the best Italian food in the US. Grilled gnocchi was very tasty. Deserves the #1 rating it had. It does get busy. Able to order from both of the pizza parlor and the main dining room right there in the bar.

Always stop here for lunch after a Hershey visit. Never disappointed. They make their own pasta and everything is made to order. If you are gluten free they have a menu just for you. I look forward to the next time I am in the area so I can stop in.

Stopped here for dinner after enjoying Hershey Park all day! The food was great for the prices. All the food is homemade in-house, including the pasta. There is a pizza shop, bar, and restaurant all in one vicinity. Had the Italian Sampler it was delicious! Only complaint is that I wish they had a homemade butter for the bread. Our... More

Great Italian food and excellent service made our dinner a delight. The warm bread made from their pizza dough was a real treat, and lettuce in the salad was extremely fresh, tasted like it was picked from the garden today. I had homemade ravioli that was delicious.

We ate lunch here and loved it. Again, the entire menu was a gluten free option. They even served me GF bread before the meal and I actually felt like a normal person --- it was fantastic! I got the lasagna and it was wonderful. We will definitely go back. The only downside to this place is that they played... More

We had a very nice meal here. Nothing was spectacular, but it was all very good, from the food and service to the prices. Not fancy, but good and relatively reasonable.

Description
Voted "Best New Restaurant" by Harrisburg Magazine in 2009, Piazza Sorrento is a modern Italian restaurant based on the "Old World" Italian recipes of the owner's family back in Italy. The Bolognese sauce they grew up on and the tradition of family is the cornerstone of the Piazza Sorrento dining experience. Dedicated to providing the finest in service, food, and wine at a fair and competitive price, Piazza Sorrento makes regional and classic Italian cuisine using premium local ingredients while keeping the history of the dish and region intact. Piazza Sorrento not only provides the best in authentic Italian cooking this side of the Atlantic, but also believes that all patrons, whether adults or children, should be welcomed like one big family - even those with certain dietary requirements. That is why Piazza Sorrento is widely known for their extensive Gluten Free menu, another reason patrons routinely drive over an hour or more to dine in relative ease and safety.
