This is a real shame as I would love to give Papikas five stars which, for the food yes, but this restaurant was so dirty we will not be back. We went for lunch at noon, when they open for business, and were the only ones in the restaurant the entire time there. We choose a booth and the first... More

My friends have been coming here for years and I finally joined them. What a great surprise. It's authentic Hungarian food. The portions are huge so bring a cooler so you can bring home the leftovers. It's BYOB. The owner kept stopping by to chat. He's more like a host in his own home than a business owner. Leave some... This was our first time here and it won't be our last. I have to try their chicken paprikas and see if it's like my Mom and my Grandmom used to cook. Hubby had the Hungarian cabbage noodles with breaded pork chops and I had the hungarian gyspy pork. Both of us had the salad that comes with the entrees... More

I dined at Paprikas with three family members on a weeknight in mid-May 2016. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from Wednesdays through Sundays (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). Paprikas accepts reservations via telephone. Sometimes the restaurant is filled to capacity and reservations are necessary, but other times the restaurant is empty; it is hard to predict which... Three of us dropped in for dinner because we heard about the place through word of mouth. My daughter had selected an item on the menu, but then only after ordering it, was told they were out of it, so she quickly settled for some meat sauce over pasta thing. We had a booth seat. In the booth, you will... More

We were back in the Lehigh Valley in May 2016 so we planned another visit to Paprikas. My husband adores the cucumber salad and we both had the pork chop with cabbage and noodles dinner! Delicious! He could not believe how huge the pork cutlets were! We also ordered Chicken Paprikas to go since our daughter would be arriving the... More

The chicken paprikas is amazing! My husband always gets the halupki's and he loves them! Pork chops paired with their homemade mashed potatoes are extremely delicious! And the staff is so nice! The only thing I'd wish they would do is play the Hungarian music like they use to. It makes the experience so much better than listening to B104.... More

I like trying different foods and Hungarian is interesting. Loved the spätzle noodles and the paprikas sauce that comes in the Chicken Paprikas. The chicken is tender and it's a huge-sized dish. My son loved his breaded pork cutlets - thin, crispy, and tasty. Each entree comes with cup of soup or small salad. We enjoyed our meals. There is... More

We had a horrible experience at Paprikas Hungarian Restaurant in Hellertown last night and recommend that you avoid the place. We waited for almost two hours sitting at a table without being served dinner, and then had to leave so we would not miss our concert. Owner was not gracious, apologetic or understanding, but gave us a very hard time... More

Small quaint family restaurant. Mom cooks in the kitchen and the Hungarian language resounds. I love chicken paprika, tender white chicken with homemade rivels (dough) just makes my mouth water thinking about it. Beef goulash was a favorite of my husband's. Waiters very friendly, and all around great experience. And if you have room for dessert, the fruit filled crepes... More
