This is probably the best Italian restaurant we’ve ever been to, from New York to New Jersey and Pa. Every piece of pasta and bread is cooked from scratch fresh that morning. We actually heard the chef pounding our veal moments after we ordered it. The lamb chop was out of the world and so we the steak. I highly recommend the meatballs and fresh eggplant. The staff couldn’t be nicer. Only eating there 3 times, I feel like they’ve become good friends. The chef has sat down and drank wine with us the first time going there for about an hour because they are that personable. We leaned they have their own garden across the street where they pick so many ingredients that day. I couldn’t rave enough about this secret hidden gem. We only stumbled upon it because they were the only restaurant open late on a Sunday night (still serving dinner at 8:00.) This restaurant gives the entire county value and having it 20 minutes from our home gives our home value. A+

We recently re-discovered Ravyn & Robyn and we are so happy we did. We immediately made reservations for the next evening as we had friends visiting from NYC and knew they would love it. So in a matter of 2 days, we got a good sampling of much of the menu. Everything we had was fresh, delicious and authentic. The pasta is all homemade and the sauce is perfection. The chicken francaise was incredible. The penne a la vodka was the "best" my friend said he ever had. The pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe was so good, my other friend ATE THE ENTIRE PORTION, and she always takes a doggy bag home. We finished with the homemade creme brulee and that did not disappoint. We all can't wait to go back. Reasonable prices, good wine, very cozy and the waiters with the Italian accents are a bonus.

Let me start by saying I have eaten here several times always never disappointed. On August 1, 2021 I took my Mom who was visiting for dinner. You always need a reservation in the summer. However, it was Sunday night and we were having a rain storm. Not a table to be had and all reserved until 8:30pm. There were two men at the bar and Arthur the host asked if we would like to eat at the bar, my mom said no this place is too nice we will have to come back another time. Little did I know the other man was actually the owner who said he would get a table for us. He had us sit down at the bar and poured us some wine and assured us they would get us a table. We were amazed, I was amazed and I live nearby. We waited maybe 15-20 minutes enjoying our wine and they had put in an extra table near the back for us. Our food was to die for, everything is homemade "Everything" I had penne ala vodka and my mom had homemade ravioli with fresh ricotta and spinach in a butter sauce. Just Superb! Mom loved it so much she wanted to go back before she headed south so we went again with my daughter "with a reservation" the folowing Saturday night. Our waiter was Arthur and again the food was just wonderful. The Tiramsu and the Creme Brulee was the greatest. I have travedled alot and the Creme Brulee was I think the best I have ever had.

While they say they have gluten free pasta, they may not prepare it safely in the kitchen. My husband explained the need for the pasta to be cooked in fresh water etc, as the waiter gave him an annoyed look. And, unfortunately, my husband was “glutened” and was sick for several hours after eating there.
I gave one star because the building is pretty cool. Overall the servings were small, the prices a bit too high, and service was minimal.
But most importantly, if you are looking for a celiac safe meal, our recommendation is go somewhere else.

Had a reservation and we arrived on time. Waited to be seated then waited yet another 30 minutes for a beverage. Our server seemed overwhelmed and stressed right away at 6:30!
The special was bland with no flavor and the appetizer was a great let down as well.
Sorry to say we will not return.

Went for dinner with friends. The food was of good quality, but came out piecemeal instead of all at once, leaving our friend's food to get cold as they politely waited for us to be served. There was 1 roll in the bread basket...to be shared among 5 people. When my friend ordered a beer, a server came by and slopped the bottle on the table...no glass. I ordered a glass of "premium" pinot grigio. For $10/glass, it was Cavit, which is barely worth $10 for the full bottle. Therefore, even though the place itself is beautiful and the chef is obviously talented, the corner- cutting left us unsure if we'll return.

We had a reservation but needed to add two more people we were told because we had 8 people or more you have to do their “prefixed menu”. Their prefixed menu gives you nothing but cheap pasta dishes and no option for a lot of the menu. It’s a scam to make you pay a lot for their cheapest options I offered to spilt us up at two tables in stead of one. He was rude and basically told us we can’t do because he doesn’t have room for two tables if four but you have room to put two tables together for 8? Where’s the logic? We probably would have spent more than their prefixed menu if given the opportunity to do so. The “host” also berated the staff infront of customers. Bad bad business. This is definitely new owners. And I have. Feeling he was one of them. Not a “family” restaurant anymore. I’ve been going there since they originally opened but not anymore. I’m not giving any of my money to rude obnoxious people that treat customers like that. DONE. Go to other restaurants in the area avoid this one.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever experienced. My husband wanted to go here for dinner on his birthday. Service was very slow. We were there for almost 3 hours, when we asked where our food was, we were told different stories by the waitress, kitchen is busy even though we noticed people who arrived after us getting their food before us,the bartender said wifi is down. Finally food came out and it was literally thrown down on the table. We ordered the exact same meal and mine had zero sauce. When I pointed this out waitress got very annoyed. I’ve never been treated so poorly as a customer. We spent alot of money and it was a terrible night.
We will not be returning here. Poor service. Over rated food. Expensive

Had a leisurely meal and enjoyed it thoroughly. Ecclectic atmosphere in an old bank. My dining companion objected that our appetizer, a burratta, was served cold. By all rights it should have been served at roomtemperature, but it was still good. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and we even had a free glass of limoncello at the conclusion of our meal!

Ravyn & Robyn is not what you would expect in small town PA. Located in an old bank with warm, polished mahogany walls, the restaurant offers wonderful pastas that my Manhattan foodie friends compare to some of the best in NYC. They are not to be missed. Wine list is inexpensive, but I have found some very tasty selections. Other entrees are probably very good, but I am always seduced by the pasta, so I haven't tried them.

Have been here in the past and it was a good meal. Just went after about a year and it was not good at all, Our eggplant appetizer was lukewarm at best and dry and tasteless. Our meals came out quickly after that. My veal parm was not good at all. The sauce was bland and veal had no taste at all. My wife's chicken parm was cold and tasteless too. Our server was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed at the world. It was a disappointing overall and we probably will not return.

My family and I cannot rave enough about this place. It is a unique and authentic dinner “experience” second to none. The family that owns and runs it are wonderful just like the atmosphere and the home cooked food. We just had dinner for the third time there and we had an absolutely magical night. They take their time to give you the best food and service possible. Each meal you can tell means everything to them at that moment and all of their focus is on making sure each table gets the best of the best. Homemade pasta, delicious meats and sauces, excellent seafood and a huge wine selection. This place is our absolute favorite and blows all others anywhere near it away with ease. Go and experience the meaning of a “family dinner”!

My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner. Service was rushed and discourteous. My wife was served Skunky Corona beer and the waiter didn’t seem to understand that it was bad. The restaurant is very tight and quite loud. Food was adequate but we will not return

We had reservations for five people at 6. We were seated in the vault. Ordered drinks which came quickly. Waitress was rude-came back three times in ten minutes to get our orders which did not give anytime to enjoy drinks and conversations. When we ordered she demanded that we order appetizers and dinners all at once.
Salads came first then our dinners came about five minutes later. Good food but the meatballs were raw and food was not supper hot. We had about ten minutes to eat when waitress came and informed us we would have 15 minutes and then she needed the table. At the five minute mark we were told we could be seated at bar but would have to leave as she and the bus boy cleared the table before we were finished. We were never asked about dessert. This entire experience lasted less than a hour!

We found several new places in the town of Hawley. The Raven and Robyn is worthy of a reservation or two. This is a family business. They are from Italy. They were also in New York. We didn't have a reservation on a Friday but we were there early(5:30) and had planned to sit at the bar but it was full.(only 5 chairs) No worries,we were seated immediately. Water was spured dor us and bread delivered (fresh mini loaf with olive oil for dipping) Drinks were perfect. Bartender has talent. Appetizer of Pasta fagiole, served piping hot and delicious. Entrees were their Ravioli with spinach and ricotta and seafood tagliatelle . Excellent. Pastas are homemade on premises. No room for desert. Next time. The restaurant is what was a bank. The vault was made a small private dining table. There is outdoor seating as well. We will re turn to try other dishes. Italian food by Italians. Good stuff.
