We stayed at Ledges Hotel for our Anniversary and went to Glass for dinner. We were so glad we did ! The food was amazing. It may not be what you are accustomed to menu wise, but be adventurous and just order !! You can't go wrong . The atmosphere was beautiful, Doug and Josie ( sorry if it's misspelled) engaged us in conversation and it didn't feel like they were just doing it because they had to. It was such a pleasure dining here and meeting the both of them. Compliments to the chef for such an incredibly delicious Anniversary dinner. From the olives and cheese platter to start, until the sweet end with Brownies and Pumpkin cheesecake the food was superb.Cannot wait to come back possibly in the Summer to enjoy the outdoor patio ,live music and view of the falls.

Delicious food and great service. And all outside seating to take in the beautiful views. They have a QR code to scan so you can view the menu, there are no shared condiments and different people bring your fresh food, and fake your dirty dishes away.

No Covid restrictions, no downpours over the open air seating, no people who showed up without reservations - nothing was capable of shaking the good humor and professionalism of the manager of Glass. His staff to a one were warm, engaging and flexible as they dealt with the repercussions of the rain and getting hot food to their hungry guests. Each plate we ordered was delicious (Mexican street dip!) and the prices were very reasonable. Kudos to the staff of Glass!

Not sure where to start, One there's no Handicap acesss for older people so good luck going down steps and then dropping off people at front and turning around if busy is impossible. then parking down a steep slope , LOTS OF FUN !!! But lets get pass that, our server was definitely not into us, I think we because we had a one year old ??? We asked when making reservations if this was ok, they said yes they have a high chair . She was never coming back to table or bringing drinks , seemed more interested in her fellow workers at bar than us. The food was ok, not worthy of the cost except the skirt steak saved it , The Dessert horridable! ,So you know we are foodies and have been in France so do not think first time for us with Steak Tarte!!! Then She cleared plates and asked if we wanted her to box the dessert, hmmm NO we want to eat it here! , Sorry, don't rush us ,! $ 400 dollars later , Worst New Years dinner we ever experience, Never going back there, Oh, and the server never wished us a Happy New Years or Thanked us for coming ! Wow !! I would say go to Settlers Inn , Same group but seems to have better servers, better food , better drinks !

If you are looking for City quality food and service, this is the place for you! Small plates, great cocktails and incredible service, all wrapped up with a beautiful restaurant and amazing view. The charcuterie plate is always a good start. The chicken, steak, tacos and fish are fresh and delicious. The sides are amazing, whether it’s the Mac and cheese, French onion soup bites or the brussel sprouts, you cannot go wrong at Glass. Outdoor deck seating overlooks the falls and the inside is decorated in a beautiful rustic motif. This place is special!!!

We were able to get an deck table right by the waterfalls. Fantastic view!! The drinks and food (small plates) were great. The service was very very slow BUT I believe they were suffering from being short staffed - as many restaurants are these days. Our visit was pre-summer season and on the tails of the pandemic. Once the season gets going and restaurants are able to hire more staff, this will be the number one place to dine near Lake Wallenpaupack PA.

So to start off with our particular caveats, we were seated at 8:30pm (late reservation). There also appeared to only be 2 wait staff running around for about 15 tables on the top deck. The atmosphere and view were stunning. Restaurants all-over pay to have fake walls put up that cannot possibly come close to the masonry and ambiance of this place. The sound and scene of the waterfalls is also very relaxing and had an almost spa-like feel. Having said that, nothing else was really positive. My family has been coming to the Poconos, Lake Wallenpaupack, and Woodloch for over 30 years, and this was our first time here. After being seated the waiter came over and immediately told us they were out of 3 things on the menu including the artichoke hearts (the reason my wife wanted to come here) and the pork chop. Okay no problem we pivoted and received crab cakes instead with our appetizer, but they tasted more like crab hush puppies. It was filled with breading that sunk in my stomach, and not much crab. Then for our main course, my wife ordered the charcuterie family dinner and enjoyed everything she ate. I decided to play it a little safe and ordered the Hawley Sliders with a side of the Mac and cheese. I guess the kitchen doesn't taste their food before serving it or just decides not to add seasoning to anything, because all of my food tasted so bland. I actually asked the waiter (Dan) for salt and pepper as soon as he came over to check on us after receiving the food, hoping to save the meal. However after about 20-25 minutes of watching him actively avoid us and help all his other tables, I was able to wave him over and sent the Mac and cheese back. It was inedible. No flavor and the grossest, blandest cheese I've ever had. Definitely not worth $10 not even for kids. Then, rather than ask us how the rest of the food was, I reminded him about my request for salt and pepper. After another 5 minutes or so he came out with the condiment sized containers, one with salt the other with pepper. At that point the sliders (which also tasted like frozen bland hockey pucks) were cold and made the salt and pepper useless. I should have sent them back as well, but didn't think it would be appropriate as I did eat one of the three sliders. At no point after the original time he came over did he check up on us again or ask "How's the food?" By this point there were only like 6 tables left. When be brought the check he looked at my mostly full plate with the sliders and just walked away without saying anything. At that point since it was after 10pm and they were cleaning up, I didn't feel like having to fight over the bill, but at least he took the Mac and cheese off. But like not even a "sorry?" I don't want to sound spoiled here, but we still spent over $100 and nothing about the food seemed worth it to me. The charcuterie I didn't eat but my wife raved. Can confidently say we will NOT be going back again.

We were staying at Ledges and decided to give this restaurant a try after great reviews and we are so glad we did! Every single thing we had was so delicious and flavorful!! They serve small plates which were actually not small at all. The staff was great...both the host who fit us in and the waitress who was so friendly and energetic !! We sat outside and the view was amazing. We can’t say enough great things about this restaurant !! Reservations highly recommended!!

Restaurant is part of the Ledges hotel. It specializes in Tapa type entrees which were delicious and for me a dining experience. The two person wait staff (Dan & Jose) were the hardest working people we have experienced in a restaurant setting. They plus the setting next to a waterfall made dinner one to remember.

Our family of four (with two teenagers) dined here twice during our five night stay at Ledges Hotel. We loved each dish we tried and basically ordered the same dishes the second evening. The location is lovely, overlooking the waterfalls. Live music was nice too.

Our vacation home is located close by and we have eaten at all of the other restaurants in the area, including the very pretentious restaurant at Woodloch. This place blends, a unique style of laid-back charm, beautiful scenery, fantastic service, and unique food. The wine list is very approachable and all the prices are very fair. We eat here quite often and never feel rushed. There are several different vibes to this restaurant, the indoor dining room, the bar area, or the outdoor area. You can’t go wrong.

So very disappointing for dinner. Waiter didn’t care , didn’t ask routine questions like how do you want your steak, which then came fully rare . Meal came before the salad , really salad came 10 minutes after the dinner was served. Pork came uncooked and had to be sent back, drinks did not show up for 20 minutes, no bread on table, food was poorly presented and unappetizing. Waiter never ever asked if we needed anything. One persons meal was forgotten. The venue was beautiful everything else was disappointing , this could be an amazing place but tonight it just fell extremely short given the prices

We were a party of 10 celebrating my 75th birthday. We were promptly seated at our reservation time. Our waiter introduced himself and took our drink order. The wine pours were lacked volume for the price charged. Drinks came out staggered over 10 minutes. Kind of hard to toast the honoree. We ordered several apps to share none of which could be described as outstanding. The PEI clams main was very skimpy with almost no broth to enjoy. The clams were actually quite chewy. As for the lollipop lamb chops they were tiny, quite chewy Server was asked for a GF menu which was never produced. He eventually said GF verbally. No bread offered. Service quite slow! One desert choice was absurd. Positives View and spicy edamame and Mac and cheese. Menu highly overpriced for quality and quantify of food presented. The only positive was the a very tasty peach salad.

It is always sad when a restaurant does not live up to expectations, but even worse when you go to one that had been the highlight of a previous trip. That happened with Glass in Hawley that advertises itself as a Wine.Bar.Kitchen. We did not have a cocktail so I cannot comment on the “bar” component, but on the other two they failed miserably. Let’s start with the wine. Their “list” is abominable. When I saw it I said to our party, “good heavens, this is like a grocery store selection” but was proven wrong the next day when I went to a local small grocery where they had a better selection. For somewhere that advertises their “wine” they should be ashamed. The “stars” of their list were an unknown Napa Cab (about $20 retail, $100 on their list) and a MacMurray Pinot (again $20 retail, $90 on their list). Neither of these wines is particularly highly rated or a good match for their food. The insults on the list were Seven Deadly Zins (not a bad zin mind you) at $60 (retail $15) and Mark West Pinot, probably a bargain at $33. Because literally nothing went with what we were ordering I chose to retrieve a wine from the car (we were travelling so I had brought some to share with our hosts) and they charged me $25 to pop the cork and had the audacity to serve it in what amounted to water tumblers. The food part did nothing to redeem them. All entrees are served without a starch or vegetable. To get a veg you must order a la carte from their salads. I ordered a delicious sounding roasted artichoke and red pepper salad, and there the façade ended. When it arrived it was obviously canned artichoke hearts and peppers that had been laid on a hot grill to give them burn marks. Nothing about that dish was fresh or frankly appetizing. The entrée, a grilled pork tenderloin, was tasty but $26 for approximately 8 oz of meat with no vegetable or starch seems extravagant. I have seldom been so disappointed at what is apparently a complete lack of culinary skill or pride in a product or a name. I am not sure what happened in the year since I was there last but I can say that I will not tempt fate with a third visit. Given that there are WONDERFUL restaurants in the nearby town, I would say that I’d be surprised if that particular Glass was not completely empty in the future.

We already loved this place. My wife has some dietary issues and she was delighted to find they don’t use soybean oil anymore. She can eat almost everything on the menu! So many of their items can also be made gluten free. They are very accommodating, the service is fantastic and the restaurant is well run.
