What a gem. This quaint charming dining room was the perfect place for a romantic dinner. The food was mouth watering. The bread and special butters were an added treat. The berry sauce on the lamb was to die for. My husbands prime rib was really juicy and tender. I loved the squash blossoms. The chef sent hummus with cucumber... More

We have heard from many about The Settlers Inn's dinner. We obviously were very excited! The menu is quite enticing and every item sounds great, but each bite left us bored and bummed out. We had the watermelon and mozzarella skewers, fried zucchini flowers and BBQ pork flatbread all for appetizers - they were all ok. My husband had Pho... More

We sat out on the back patio for both lunch and dinner. The views of the garden are really lovely. Service was very good and the food was quite good. Leave time to walk down to the water behind the patio shop. It is really beautiful and peaceful.

You can't get more bang for your buck in the area than The Settler's Inn! Beautifully landscaped, well kept, quaintly decorated--all in all, a lovely escape. My husband and I stayed in room 306 for an anniversary/babymoon trip, and though it is on the third floor (and there is no elevator), it was well worth it. If I can walk... More

The atmosphere here is probably is best feature, with a large fireplace, beautiful woodwork, and lovely landscaping and gardens, it is truly a breathtaking place. The food is, for the most part, excellent. Service can be rather slow, and certain menu features could and should be better than they are for the price (which is high.) Overall, though, it's probably... More

Have eaten here a couple times before, but never stayed. Last night we did both to enjoy the Jazzy Wednesday night. Started with complimentary wine-tasting upon arrival, walk thru downtown and along the Riverwalk. Dinner on the terrace was a very delicious and relaxing 3-hour experience listening to the Robert Kopec Trio. Our softshell crab and halibut dinners were complemented... More

We walked in towards the end of "Brunch" on a Sunday. Which isn't a buffet brunch like you would expect but an overpriced, small menu. Which we had plenty of time to review while we waited, and waited and waited. Even though no one was ahead of us...or behind us, there was no one else waiting and about 6 tables... More
