Awesome Classic Diner

We stopped here because we saw it on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives years ago and we were not disappointed! It is small and expect a wait especially since it is only open for breakfast and lunch but the food is worth it! I had creamed chipped beef and home fries and my husband had the Italian omelet... read more

This was the third Triple D restaurant my son and I hit on our trip to Philly. This place is a classic diner. The food was well made and delicious. My son went with biscuits and gravy, while I had eggs and home fries, which were the best! Get'm with onions! Our waitress was a pleasure and very helpful. I... More

Good place for the money. Very well known. People wait outside. I wouldn't. Its more nostalgia then anything. But, the pile on the home fries.

After all the buzz I babe heard about this place my wife and I had a chance to go. It's small but the home town feel isn't. They have a perfect dinner style menu and some creative things. I came across a kielbasa omelette on the menu and had to have it. Wasn't sure how it was going to be... More

I've only tried this place once and I can't decide if it's worth the wait yet. I've waited about 20 minutes because we just found a seat to sit in. I understand that it's a small place to have a host or hostess but it would have been nice if we had some kind of greeting and let us know... More

I tend to go there for the omelets and the home fries. I think that their home fries are one of the best around. I am not excited about their pancakes. If you want pancakes you better like nutmeg. I am only lukewarm with it in pancakes. They do not server dinners. They close at 3:00 pm.

Breakfast here every Tuesday. Coffee is served as I am being seated. Service is always fast and friendly. Couldn't ask for more. Just watch out for holidays, it can get busy.

I stopped into the beautiful dinner for breakfast at the advice of my brother, and I was not disappointed. He has eaten there many times and told me to give it a try for a very filling breakfast. The pork roll sandwich is something that I have not had since I was younger and it was prepared perfectly. The add... More

Having heard a lot about this local breakfast option we went in on Saturday around 11 am and there was a long line at the door. This diner style restaurant does not take reservations and also does not have a host to whom you can provide your name to get seated. Thankfully other patrons waiting outside informed us about this.... More

So, thought I'd try it, decent reviews. Sat at the counter, ALONE, nobody else on that side. Get a menu quick, ready to order, get change to put in the meter. Ask to order so I can then run out to feed meter. They say one sec. So I run out, feed meter, and come back. As I walk in,... More
