A sophisticated but casual restaurant that I was thrilled to discover on my one night in Harrisburg. If you like a range of wines to choose from, not too pricey, and delicious food, you will enjoy the Cork and Fork as we did.

We wanted something small late lunch. Had Meatballs and Bruschetta appetizers. Perfect size plates. Had non-alcoholic drink. Dont remember what it was called but its the one with passionfruit. That was really good. Staff were friendly.

Four people, four outstanding meals. Great service and atmosphere. Half portions of pasta dishes allow more variety. Third visit there and won't be the last, have never been disappointed. It's my go to when in Harrisburg!

I've been to C&F numerous times. The food is good, but the acoustics are such that the place is very noisy if there are people there. Aside from everyone seeming to be yelling to be heard, there is the awful clatter of cutlery being sorted...in a corner of the dining room. The noisy ambiance is a real drawback to a nice dinner with friends, because you can't hear each other. It can take a L-O-N-G time to get cocktails here. Not sure if this is because there is usually just one bartender, but I don't see that many cocktails flying off the bar. For this reason, you'd do well to order your drink well before ordering food if you'd like to enjoy a before dinner cocktail. Also, be careful about ordering. If you want appetizers, order them first and THEN order entrees. Otherwise, it's likely everything will arrive at the same time. The pizzas are good. So's the octopus small plate, and the pastas. Small plates are just that. Small. Larger entrees are a little pricey. But they DO have interesting food options. Overall, I like the place, but the noise level can really negatively impact a night out. They have outdoor seating on the street in nice weather, which can be nice, and quieter.More

Tasty Italian food, we both enjoyed our appetizer and pasta, as well as the traditional dessert. The service was most excellent, we would come back.

Everything was great: the waiter, the ambiance, the food, and the location. It was a very noisy restaurant, though. We had the meat and cheese plate and the Brussels sprouts.

Food took over an hour, appetizers came out after the meal. The rosemary flatbread was a raw sheet of dough. Food was satisfactory at best..must have some new cooks or something.

Everything was wonderful! They let us sit outside under powerful heaters. Service was great. We enjoyed coral crushes, butternut squash ravioli, Brussels sprouts, and tiramisu. Great spot with easy parking near by, around the corner from the Capital building and a short walk to the...water.More

We stopped here for lunch before catching a flight home. No problem getting a table as Covid has reduced downtown activity. We had the Gnocchi, the Our burger and the Caesar salad. The results, three clean plates. Very tasty, really fresh ingredients. Lots of choices...on the menu.More

We had dinner here with friends who live Harrisburg. Our reservation was for outdoor dining. We were a little early and seated immediately. The small plates are very interesting. One person in our party of four had the sauteed octopus. It was delicious and served...with fingerling potatoes and salsa verde. Two people shared the chicken Marsala, a special of the night. The chicken was served with fried potatoes, mushrooms and a Marsala sauce. One entree was more than enough to share. I had the crab ravioli. The pasta had chunks of crab and ricotta cheese in a white sauce strongly flavored with onion. We all enjoyed our dinner and the wine we ordered. Service was friendly and professional. If there is any downside to the restaurant it is the noise level, both inside and outdoors. The traffic on Second Street is heavy and constant. Parking is on the street.More

Get the pistachio pizza. It’s delicious. I’m sure lots of the other stuff on the menu is fine, but… get the pistachio pizza. And no, it’s not just a pizza with some pistachios dumped on it.

My husband and I are from out of town and visited Cork and Fork based on a recommendation from our hotel staff. I liked the environment/feel of the restaurant. The prices were reasonable. The food was good. However, the lettuce for our salad was brown,...the “small plate” we ordered came out when we were almost finished with our pizza and our server was lacking in basic “service skills.” She never asked how our food was and I had to ask her three different times to clear empty glasses and dishes from the table. We would consider giving this place a second try but it probably won’t be on this trip.More

We had 30 minutes for lunch prior to touring the spectacular nearby Pennsylvania State Capitol building and the Cork & Fork met our schedule with style, speed, great food and outstanding service. We enjoyed the Margarita pizza. We were so satisfied that we returned there...after the tour for espresso and the best tiramisu I’ve ever tasted. A must visit and I say this as a discerning New York City diner!More

I don't think this would work, the restaurant is not a really large space, but you can always ask.

In my opinion it would be what some refer to as "smart dress". I didn't see jeans, shorts or t-shirts. Collared shirts, slacks or dress jeans and even a sport coat would work.
