I ran in for an iced coffee during a break. I'd love to spend more time here and try their food. Very fast and well done.

Firstly, in this Trip Advisor stated operating hours is wrong. Agia closes at 4 pm weekdays, as I asked them. Walking in, the staff isn't that friendly, but hey... Who cares, right? I just want a great coffee or an Americano. Service is fairly prompt....More

I was very disappointed when I saw that the "fresh fruit smoothie" I ordered (mango) was being made from fruit-flavored syrup out of a commercially available gallon container. So much for "fresh." One of the people I was with liked the soup, and it did...More

Happened to walk in to this place. The music was choir music and overall the atmosphere was nice and calm. There's a gently used library in one of the rooms along with religious literature. They have a selection of soups that I didn't get a...More

Description
Agia Sophia Coffeehouse and Bookstore downtown Harrisburg is a peaceful retreat playing religious music, displaying Christian icons and serving fresh coffee (from brew pots and espresso machine) along with ancient wisdom (found in our books). We make food on-site, primarily soups with salads, spanakopita, and other items as available. As a non-profit, we donate to other local charities.
