The menu consist of bar food and burgers mainly. They do have some different burgers you won't find anywhere else. My personal favorite is the PB&J burger. Sounds just like it is. Peanut butter and jelly on a hamburger with bacon, it's actually quite good. Also the Pittsburger is another good burger that's a little different. You can eat inside... More

Eggs Benedict typically is graced with Canadian Bacon, ham etc. A friend of mine suggested we go there for Sunday Morning Breakfast. The first thing I noticed was there may have been 75% of the people in the place drinking Bloody Marys which to me is a real good indicator. I don't drink over Lent but you rest assured I'll... When entering the restaurant we were not greeted. Once seated the server was not friendly, enthusiastic, and could not pronounce items on the menu. When we asked her for simple requests we were met with resistance and bitter responses. Our steaks were cooked in a sauce that we were unaware of and the server never mentioned that it would be... Valentines Eve dinner on the second floor of Sturges Speakeasy was perfect. Reservations were easy to secure, and guaranteed us a nice quiet spot in the upstairs dining area. Though music is a very subjective topic, for us, this music was perfect for us. The selections were spot on, the volume was such that you could tune in to the... More

Looked for a "different venue" for husbands birthday while we were in Harrisburg. Wanted somewhere with a good steak, different atmosphere, and new to us. Sturges speakeasy fit the bill. Love the decor---the whiskey barrel based bar, the lighting, etc. Would have loved to have one of the small two people bar tables, but since there was to be several... More

Sturges is conveniently located or any of the large government buildings on Forster Street in Harrisburg. It is a frequent place for an after work happy hour or a group lunch. The beer selection is good, and the food menu has a lot of options, even a good number for a vegetarian like myself. I do not know how often... More

The Sturges Speakeasy Lots of wood floors, walls, black drunk rails. More of a tavern feel than a speakeasy. Music fits--jazz. Great crowd even on a weekday. Several tvs tuned to sports. I took a seat in cozy far back of the dining area where I could get in a little people watching. The Sturges Speakeasy is generally younger crowd,... More

We were a group of 10 (made reservations in advance), meeting here a day after Christmas. The restaurant made the entire upstairs room available for our group so we had lots of room to move around and socialize during our family reunion. Our waitperson was very patient and attentive and gave us lots of time for our celebration. Sturges' has... More

Nice enough but lacking in details and quality. Went on weekday at lunch. Slow service led to cold entrees and cold fries and long waits. Food was too salted. Maybe better in evening?
