One of our favorite restaurants in Harrisburg. We love sitting in their courtyard. Have done so for many years. Too hot for that today unfortunately. Food here is always unique and always good. We enjoyed their Happy hour cocktails just $6 each! My wife had the Watermelon Mojito (Grilled Watermelon, Shakey Jake’s Rum, Mint, & Soda. It was so refreshing... More

This is my first review. I saved the best for first. Seriously. Really Good Food. Everything I had was inventive. I like food with multiple layers of taste. My visit yesterday to Home231 had this in abundance. Don't worry about the food here. You won't be disappointed. We had no problem with our on line reservation getting a table quickly.... More

I had heard this boutique style of restaurant was superior in every fashion; consequently, I wanted to try the food here in the worst way. We were there for Sunday Brunch. The first of the good things about this eating establishment was when we were seated the owner noticed me being rather large let us change from a booth to... More

Thanks to Yelp, we stumbled upon this gem on Wednesday night July 13. Even though we arrived with less than an hour to closing time, we were very warmly greeted. We sat outside on a lovely patio surrounded by their herb & veg garden and in view of some of harrisburg's beautiful downtown architecture. There were so many interesting sounding... More

great decor, friendly service, fresh menu with various selctions (duck tacos, etc). Had various apps including humus plate, artichoke dip, cheese platter- all very good for an acquired taste-this is not a family type "steak and potato" restuarant. View the menu on-line, if you are into tasting new and delcious "american home" food, try this restuarant-

Home 231 wouldn't serve us alcohol with our valid Australian drivers licences, multiple other cards to verify we are who we say we are and also a Government Issued International Driver's Licence. Seems a bit weird for a restaurant to demand this when they are dealing with tourists. Needless to say, the food was very mediocre - the only thing... More

First off let me say a special shout out to an amazing bartender named Liz. She made some of the best drinks I've ever had. Also to our fabulous server, Britney who brought a great sense of humor but knowledge and fun to our date. The restaurant is located in what I like to call old town Harrisburg or the... More

I love this quaint place. I can go get a mimosa and some homemade donuts Sunday mornings and start my day off right. My favorite place to wine and dine in midtown Harrisburg. Delicious, well prepared meals. Definitely a must go for any avid restaurant explorer. A little pricey but well worth it to me. Quality food, your tastebuds will... More

This is the second time we have eaten here. WOW! This place is amazing. Service was outstanding and the food was absolutely wonderful. We will always try to eat here while traveling in Harrisburg. The donuts we ordered for desert were out of this world. You must must order them if you visit here. Thanks!

Home 231 is a rather tiny restaurant tucked away on North st. in a mainly residential area. But the food there is excellent and the wait staff very knowledgeable. Prices are a bit on the high side, but it is truly gourmet food. The atmosphere is muted tones and soft lights. Then menu changes frequently as they strive to make... More
