I hate writing negative reviews because I try to give businesses the benefit of a doubt, but this place was bad. My husband, daughter and I had the buffet. The food on the buffet was old and dried out, the restaurant did not look to...be the cleanest and our 7-year old daughter visited the restroom and said that looked unclean. I would recommend if you are planning to eat here and have the buffet check it out prior to committing to it.More

My family has been looking for another Chinese restaurant when ours was not making the food good anywhere. They added extra ingredients that alter the taste of the food, that I was used to. The people who own the business are friendly to their customers...and always bring out fresh food. They only have a limited amount of food you can choose from. There is a list of food where the chief can make a special order. But that good for me and should be for many people. The prices for lunch and dinner are also very reasonable.More

More Business is the solution. The problem is that while the food is good, it sits out in the buffet too long. Because there is not enough eat in business. That is all that is wrong. Food tastes great when it is brought out fresh...or is reasonably fresh. The children of the owner and/or manager are underfoot so be forewarned if this bothers you. I find it refreshing but I am an empty nester who's grand kids are 1000 miles away.. On a recent visit, I was treated to a violin solo. (Daughter practicing) As well as assorted whistling of some of the tunes. I thought it was cute. Not much eat in business weekdays for late lunch around 2:00 - 3:00 PM. Owner/Manager very attentive, but when you are the only customer in the place.... Two hot serving bars, one cold and a hard ice cream dispenser. Give them a break, help them build their business volume and give them a try: $9.10 for the buffet including soda between 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM.More

the owners have their children running around and yelling. The adults yell at the children in Chinese. It is very nerve racking and like eating in a grade school . The food was good and prices resonable, but I would never go back because of...the children.More

A family setting with an excellent buffet. We go every week & feel at home here. We would not go anywhere else. We have taken out of the area guests here too & the one place they want to re-visit when they return to the...area is Best Wok.More

Reluctantly, we tried the Best Wok today for Chinese take out. We had never eaten here before, as the restaurant space is unappealing, and the weird odor upon entering is a real turn off. Usually, the smell of food cooking in a restaurant will result...in a desire to eat, but not at best Wok. We ordered 2 very basic Chinese dishes, the "House Special" fried rice, and the General Tsao's. I feel confident drawing from personal experience from other venues, when writing this review. The Gen. Tsao's was presented with very little broccoli (4 small florets) and was a strange yellowish color, and swimming in a very watery brown sauce. The flavor was very unappealing and the pieces of chicken were dry. It had a strange flavor, reminiscent of old, used cooking oil. The "House Special" fried rice contained shrimp, chicken and pork. The pork pieces were severely over cooked, full of fat and un edible. The chicken pieces were white meat (that is preferred), but so overly cooked they were dry unappealing bits of meat. There were maybe 4 very small shrimp, Vegetables were basically nonresistant. The rice itself was a weird yellow color (not from saffron or curry) and was mushy. Not at all like the classic steamed rice, which is then used in fried rice dishes at most Chinese restaurants. And to top it off, the prices are about 10% to 20% higher than some better choices for Chinese food in Hanover. Wont be back again.More

I love Chinese Food and often try different places. On this one I have to say that this is the worst that I have ever had. Nothing tasted like it should have. Hot and sour soup was sweet, most of the food was just warm....A bad experience. Go to the Hitachi grill across the street (I should have)More

Hands down the best Chinese food in Hanover. We live on the South side of town - but always drive across town for buffet or takeout. Lunch or Dinner you can not go wrong.

This restraint has the BEST crab meat wontons and I have found that their food while not the most diverse is consistently fresh and good!

So I could tell you how the food wasnt very good and the choices were basically all fried but no. I will just tell you, I saw the cook scoop broccoli out of the sqid, shrip, veg combo and add it to the chicken and...broccoli. Holy Chopsticks Batman! I have a cousin that is so allergic to seafood that that chicken dish could have killed him! I spoke to the owner and told her abot my cousin. She said she was so sorry. She said it like "Oh, I so sorry you saw that, ooops!' Should I call the Health Department? The only reason I did not give a terrible is beacuase I save that for if I actually get ill from a place. SO far I am ok. It has been like 6 hours so....Go somewhere else for CHinese!! Read my reviews for a great one in Gettysburg instead.More
