Huge sandwich that was just OK. Fries on the sandwich were the best part. The breaded pickles were pretty good too. I didn't care for the coleslaw. Service was good.

My visit began with poor service. It took 15 minutes to get a Coke, which doesnt sit well when the place is not very busy. This was followed by a very long wait to get cold food that didn't agree with my system. I suspect the kitchen has some issues. Finally, the bill was wrong. I paid and left because... More

I wanted to try this restaurant for years since seeing it featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" and it hit the spot. I had the classic Pitts-burger, and it was absolutely delicious. I already know what I'm ordering on my next visit:-)

Stopped by here while passing through town and I'm glad we did. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. Sandwiches are huge and packed with yummy ingredients.

If you are into really unique sandwiches, this is the place. All the sides, cole slaw, french fries, etc. are put on the sandwich. So big, you can't get your mouth around it. I thought this was cool.

Stopped here for lunch -- very busy so took extra time for our food to arrive -- we weren't in any hurry so we didn't mind. Enjoyed our Sangrias!! Largest ones we've ever had. Would recommend -- they are delicious. Sandwiches are huge and large enough for two people to share. Pizza is good -- can choose among typical toppings.... More

Their sandwiches are fairly unique in that they load french fries and tart coleslaw on Italian bread with various meats or none. Tasted ok. I've heard the original restaurants are better. Can't say if this is so or not. Wings were good.

We were heading to Pittsburgh for a quick weekend, and my wife is more familiar with the area than I am. We thought it would be great to stop for a quick lunch at a bona fide, popular and well-reviewed Pittsburgh institution. Primanti Brothers definitely fits the bill -- they're known for their sandwiches, served on fresh Italian bread with... More

I was greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. I ordered sweet tea to drink and it was delicious. I believe my waitress's name was Desiree and she was very pleasant and on top of everything. The nachos were to die for and then when I ordered my steak sandwich boy was I in for a Heavenly treat. One of... More

If you haven't eaten at Primanti Bros., then you haven't been to Pittsburgh. There's no sandwich like a sandwich served with fries and coleslaw ON THE SANDWICH! To tell you the truth, if you are at all committed to experiencing Primanti Bros. in its truest form, You MUST visit the original location in "the strip district" off of Penn Ave... More
