We were seeking a good lunch spot on our way through Glen Mills when we spotted Ruby's Diner. As fans of old-style diners, we decided to give it a try. We were very pleased with our choice of both lunch spot and food. I had the vegetable soup which while very tasty, was rather light on the veggies and heavy... More

Stopped in to Ruby's Diner this weekend on a trip to Glen Mills, PA. This place looks and feels like a country diner like we used to see when we were kids. The Burgers are fresh and big and cooked to perfection. The Shakes are hand spun and plentiful. My grandson loved the suspended train tracks and it keeps him... More

The food was good but the prices are a little high for a burger joint. Kids like it though, the shakes are good.

Appearance was very classic. Like going back in time. Extremely clean and all of the workers wore 50's style uniforms. Everyone was genuinely friendly. Hubby got a Hickory burger with a side of sweet potato fries and a milkshake. He loved it! I opted for the turkey platter and it was good as well, but I think most people come... More

My daughter and I have eaten here numerous times and the food has always been great. This past Saturday we were seated back where the waitresses get the food and were witness to some horrible non hygienic food handling. I watched in horror as the food was placed out to be picked up and taken to the customer and my... More

We stopped by after a day at Longwood Gardens. Service was great! The menu was great! The food was good!! It was a lot!! Most of this was out issue because we ordered too much. Just know that the portions are going to be big. Love the 40's atmosphere and the trains are a plus.

Visited for breakfast with colleague as staying in nearby Staybridge Suites. Both of us from the UK and wanted a tasty breakfast with an added helping of US diner kitsch. Ruby's delivered. Waitress friendly and helpful, coffee refreshed regularly and the huevos rancheros was very tasty. Clean. Fast. Tasty.

While New Jersey has the reputation for the best diners, walk into Ruby's and take a step back into a bygone era. We enjoyed the decor, and saw lots of families with kids enjoying themselves. Children received a cut -out nostalgia car that kept them busy until the famous shakes arrived complete with metal cup. I could not resist the... More
