We stopped in at Bella last month, and were lucky enough to get a table towards the end of the evening, without reservations. The atmosphere was classy, and we were seated near the back, by the bar. The restaurant was really cold, but I think...that's because we were near a register that was blowing cold air continuously. (On a 50 degree September day). A napkin and my wife's purse placed over the register solved the problem. The server was pleasant and timely. We were drinking coffee, both of which were lukewarm. There were replaced with hot when we mentioned it. Our meal was good (porterhouse and filet), but the mixed the way they should be cooked, with mine being rare, and my wife's being medium well. Not much you could do to "uncool" it, but we did mention it to the server, who replied, "That's strange". No offer of an apology or anything. We don't go out for steak very often, so I guess the prices are reasonable. We'll probably go back again.More

My husband and I enjoyed a nice meal on the outside porch. The food was delicious! The hot bread and dipping oil was so good. Great restaurant and must try when in Franklin.

Sometimes you find a restaurant that is so good you almost hate to share it with anyone else BUT this place deserves more than 5 stars!!! It is located on the corner with a beautiful view of the park right next door and Ava (the...owner) has done a spectacular job of adding outside seating, which is particularly important during COVID. The inside is cozy but spacious enough for "social distancing" and the food is absolutely outstanding - not only is it incredibly tasty, the presentation is absolutely beautiful. Did I mention the staff? Probably the best service we have ever had anywhere!!! My husband said "it's like having a New York restaurant right nearby". We can't wait to go back - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!More

I agree with other reviews that this is a quality restaurant. My comment is they are woefully lacking in vegetarian options and Italian food- menu does not represent the Italian name of restaurant. Will return but only get appetizer and salad.

I had the best grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup I have ever eaten. The cheese in the sandwich was thick and filled to overflowing. It just melted in your mouth! The cup of soup was different from any I have ever had. My goodness...it was delicious. Normally I don't order dessert, but was tempted by the creme brûlée. I have eaten that all over the world and the creme brûlée here was one of the best well worth the price and the calories!More

Stopped for lunch while on a Christmas house tour. Everything was great, food, service atmosphere. A very nice restaurant in this small PA mountain town. With three of us, we each had something different, one choice from the regular menu and two from the lunch...special. What was really outstanding was the curry carrot soup. The restaurant was buzzing with energy and supported with a professional wait staff. Will definitely return.More

We arrived around 11:30, were seated in a comfortable booth. We had excellent meals with large portions, while enjoying the decor and atmosphere. As the place filled up, we still had good attention from our waiter.

Took my Mom on a Fall Foliage Drive and before going found this place on Trip Advisor and now know why it was rated #1. We stopped for a late lunch, and We were greeted by our waiter Michael who was very friendly and attentive....I started with the Calamari which was not only presented well it was very good and even included tentacles which was a welcome surprise. We both opted for one of the daily specials, Cajun Strip Steak Sandwich, again the presentation was wonderful and the flavor was outstanding, my Mom raves about it. I also had Honey, Cajun Sweet Potato Fries which was also very well presented and also delicious. I sure wish it was closer to home as I’d love to return for dinner sometime. This is a must try if your in the area 👍👍👍More

The five star rating and menu made me try this place. What I had was good for the most part, not fantastic. I tried the Korean chicken noodle soup. I had one piece of chicken in the entire cup and it was filled with mushrooms...which I would not have expected. Had the pork belly BLT as well. Love the concept, but it was very messy to eat. I would definitely go back again, I guess I just ordered the wrong thing.More
