Best burger at this side of the town.. big fan!! My wife loves their vanilla milk shake. The burgers are priced very reasonably and the food tastes awesome.

Hands down the best burgers in the area! I drive a half an hour to go to Charlie's! I get two bacon cheese burgers every time and I'm never disappointed! Must try.

simple and old school. burgers and shakes. family run and absolutely delicious not to mention they are not expensive for as good as they are. I would pay double and not bat an eye. we always eat a few there and take some to go.

They do have a counter that you can eat at. Burgers are made fresh. the burgers are small but very tasty. A little pricy. Milkshakes are outstanding and made w/fresh iced cream.

Hard to find, but worth the search. The original burger and shake joint in 1955 was in Springfield, maybe 3 miles away. The went out of business for a period when the real estate was sold after the then "Owners an operators" died and retired. This reincarnation has been around for many years and pretty much captured the taste. 1955... More

I picked Charlies as the place to take my wife and kids for my BD. Been coming here for over 30-40 yrs.. We ordered two-three cheeseburgers each, I had coke, the others enjoyed a milkshake. beside the very rude jerk who never offered to move one seat over even though it was obvious we were all together,, everything was great... Over priced cardboard between hamburger buns. Hamburger patties couldn't get any thinner. Also highly expensive. The place has definitely changed not for the better over the years. Good milkshakes but once again over priced.

Yesterday we drove from home which is 34.7 miles 45-60 minutes drive for the best Burgers in the Philadelphia area. Always great tasting, friendly service. I always have two Cheeseburgers and wife has one, we both had small Pepsi's. $11.00 Quick service, $2.90 a burger may seem high for people brought up on McDonald's meatless burgers, but well worth it....
