An upscale, casual restaurant serving a creative American menu with ethnic influences. Our food is prepared from scratch in our chef run kitchen which offers our guests an unparalleled freshness and variety of flavors. Our "raw bar" is stocked with the freshest oysters, shrimp, and clams, caught and delivered daily from our local fish market in Philadelphia. In addition to our seasonally changing menu, we feature daily specials taking full advantage of seasonal ingredients. Our bar is fully stocked with various spirits, wines and bottled beers, as well as twelve beers on tap. The bar also features high definition televisions, live music, and daily happy hour specials.

Looking forward to going back!

On a pleasantly warm afternoon, we dined outside. We both ordered the naked lobster roll (not lobster salad) which was just buttered lobster in a toasted roll with great fries and cole slaw. There were so many great sounding things in the menu, but when we got to this last item under sandwiches, we both agreed we had to try it. Can’t wait to go back to try other item. Wait staff was extremely welcoming and efficient in these trying times of shortages.

Used to be Better

Have been coming to Brickside since 2002ish….always a favorite. Recently was renovated but it’s not good looking! Cheap color blue paint and white trim does not match the ambience or name - looks like it is a place in OCNJ aim the 80s. Food quality has gone down too - French Dip used to be on a high quality ciabatta, now on a plain brioche that you can find at Giant with mediocre fries. You can do better Brickside!

Loved the outside areas with live music!

We stopped for dinner after a day trip, The restaurant was located in a town center where there were multiple restaurants with outdoor seating. It was so cute with white lights and live music playing. The food at Brickside was very good.

The calamari was mixed in with fried cherry rings to give the appearance of more calamari than was there. Jambalaya was not good. $20 for a plop of uncle bens rice in the middle of 3 shrimp, super thinly sliced sausage, stewed tomatoes, onions and celery. No thank you! If you want excellent jambalaya go to SAGE in Phoenixville. The prime rib sandwich came on a hamburger bun not a long roll and was about as thin as paper. They served it with hair in my side of horseradish and the waiter had to take it back to replace it. The sandwich and fries were $16. Certainly not worth the price for what you’re getting. Take some advice and go somewhere else.

Don't let them seat you to the right of the lobby!

I was so excited to spend Valentine's with my husband; made the reservations almost two weeks prior yet when we arrived they seated us in the overflow area to the right of the lobby. It would have been ok EXCEPT that everytime a car started up, we were blinded by the headlights. Not only that, the quality of the filet mignon I ordered was very poor; could have gotten a better burger at McDonalds! needless to say we will not be returning

Unbelievably disappointed

Ordered a doordash order from them. They completely missed a main course from the order, on top of that the chocolate cake ordered for desert had hair in it. While on the topic of the chocolate cake this is in no way bigger enough for two people, I've had bigger pieces in other restaurants meant for one person, it is grossly over priced.

No longer very good

The bar service was extremely slow, The food literally took well over 30 minutes for a chicken salad club and a crab cake sandwich, Been coming here for years and with the added restaurants and new competition in the area you would think it would get better instead of worse. The Chicken salad was like paste. All mayo and celery ground up and I could get better at subway which is scary, The Crab cake sandwich that a friend got was and I quote" The worst crab cake sandwich I have ever had" . Need less to say we wont be going back.

Spoke about good service but did not deliver

Interesting thing happened. My wife and I went for dinner, buck a shuck and outdoor seating. We were at our table about 10 minutes when a waitress approached us to tell us it was not her table but she would take our drink order and get our waiter. 5 minutes later, the hostess came over to apologize for the confusion and to let us know that our first drinks would be on the house. 5 minutes after that the manager came over and repeated the same thing. We're easy going and had never called anyone over and thanked them all when they did come over. However, 15 more minutes, (so over 35 minutes after being seated) still no waiter, no drinks and we couldn't find any of the people that had previously come over . We left. Nice idea but no follow-up. This was after some fairly slow service the last time we were at this restaurant. Sorry but two strikes and you're out.

Don’t waste your money!

We were excited to sit outside in the lovely outdoor seating, but several patrons’ barking dogs made the experience less than desirable. Our food came out promptly and my husband’s fish was not cooked properly- and wasn’t what was described in the menu. My lobster roll was dry. I requested some drawn butter to put on the lobster from the waitress. She left and never came back. The manager apologized to my husband for his undercooked fish and brought him some soup. We flagged down a different waitress to request the butter- she returned 10 minutes later with 3 (wrapped) butter packets. By now my lobster roll is stone cold. Husband’s fish still has not come back out. The manager came out and apologized again and told us he was going to comp my husband’s meal. The fish finally came back out and was cooked correctly, but husband reports that it was basically flavorless and was very disappointing. The entire meal was definitely NOT worth the price!

Definitely not going back.

The only item that's good here is oysters. Prime rib was dry and over cooked. The stuffed shrimp were 3 tiny leathery shrimp stuffed with crab. Everything was overpriced for the poor quality. The service was great.

An ok Lunch with Friends

I was here once before, and decided to visit again with some family friends. This time, unfortunately I was disappointed overall. I started with a Lavender Lemonade Mimosa, and I would not recommend it. It was a dark purple color, it reminded me of grape Kool-Aid. It did not taste good, not at all what I was expecting. I make my own lavender lemonade in the summer and this was nothing like that, no real lavender taste at all, and no bubbles either! We got potato skins for the table to share and they were tasty. For my entrée, I got the Naked Lobster Roll, which was ok, but not great - since it is described on the menu as being poached in butter, I was expecting it to be warm. My mistake I guess for not clarifying when I ordered. It came with fries and coleslaw. The fries were good, the coleslaw was a little bitter. For dessert we ordered the Big Fat Chocolate Cake to share and that was ok, but not memorable. I really wanted to enjoy my lunch more than I did.

Good place for a business lunch

I had a business lunch here. I was surprised to see how large the restaurant was since I never heard of it. They have ample outdoor seating with socially distant tables. For lunch, I had the Crab Louie Salad which was an ample sized portion. They were not skimpy on the crabmeat in the salad.

Went to Brickside Grill to try yet another restaurant in our area in which there are many. Food and service were very good. Reasonable prices. Drinks were good. Nice social atmosphere. Had buffalo shrimp and crab cakes. I enjoyed them both. Wife had Fried shrimp. Nice place.

My wife and I ate here last night. Our prime rib was very good as was the service. The reason I didn’t give a five star review was because this is another restaurant which increases your bill if you use a credit card. Another horrible trend in the industry pushing their expenses onto customers. If they are concerned about their credit card costs they could offer a discount for using cash, rather than up charging their customers for their business expenses. Then both parties win.

Valentine's Day dinner. Service was perfect - couldn't have been nicer or faster. Oysters are shucked well and are nice and cold as they should be. Food came quickly despite the crowd.
