We celebrated my mother’s 91st Birthday at this fine restaurant and we were not disappointed. The attentive service was consistent throughout our dinner. Every meal we ordered was delicious and well presented. The price you pay for an appetizer, drink, and entree per person ranges...More

We went for a quiet dinner for two - we chose the BYOB night and the fixed price dinner. Service and food was excellent. We will return.

Food was very good. Great atmosphere. Pricey but a nice evening out for a special dinner. Family always enjoys being here for our events.

We went to this restaurant for our anniversary. Great expectations with average experience. Beautiful setting in rural Chester county. Basically a disappointing experience for the price and expectation. Pros: atmosphere, pop ups , well water Cons: mediocre food, overall experience, food not hot.

Very nice upper room for privacy. Appetizers were excellent as well as desserts. Main entrees were reasonable. Very quaint inn to have a family gathering/celebration. Highly recommend!

comfortable but elegant country atmosphere, food is interesting and good, staff is professional and helpful, and the popovers are worth the whole trip!

A beautiful old house is the setting for this wonderful restaurant! Be sure to look at the old beehive oven. Started with delicious cocktails... blood orange martinis. Had the lobster bisque and it was divine. Keeping with that theme I got the lobster crepes. Very...More

Wonderful restaurant in an historic building which includes an Inn as well as the restaurant. Pricey menu and wine list which tends to make this a “special occasion “ place as opposed to being a regular stop. Our group had a cheese platter with the...More

No dress code that I know of, but most people do not wear anything sloppy--no men in tank tops, no cut offs, etc. The crowd they get dresses "smart" casual. You would be fine without a sports jacket at dinner.
