I only went to Devi once but it was really very good and they don't mess around when it comes to spicy food (which I really like). The décor is no frills, but the staff were very pleasant and great at making recommendations for different foods to try.

Delicious food. Low key, very casual. Very good dosas. And, as mostly southern, not what you'll find at most other Indian Restaurants, which lean towards Punjabi or Gujarati. BYOB

I have always loved Indian food, but am learning some of the distinctions in Southern Indian cuisine at Devi. On the weekends, their bountiful buffet is a great way to sample different dishes without a full commitment. Last night I fell in love with Brinjal Purlusa (eggplant stew) and Pongal. Every time we eat there I have to google what... More

I had visited the restaurant recently. Looks that the chef de cusine has changed and other kitchen staff. Iit looks like the standard has gone down. it needs to improve with veggie dishes and varieties,

This a authentic south Indian restaurant. It is a all vegetarian place. But the meat eaters will not be disappointed either. Went there to a dinner buffet too. Buffet is ideal if you want to taste the wide array of dishes and zero in on your likes. Buffet comes with a choice of the dosa too.

Large buffet selection of South Indian dishes. Very good somosas and onion pakora. Fresh and flavorful, constantly replenished tables.

I was in philly for a business trip and a fellow recommended me this restaurant. I had my dinner here. First of all this is the only pure vegetarian indian restaurant i came across in philly. It serves south indian dishes with authentic taste. Moreover it is having south indian dishes in lunch buffet menu as well. They provide dinner... More
