my wife and I stopped by for dinner before going to a concert at the Warner. My wife ordered the chicken tenders and I ordered the shrimp basket. My shrimp was served to me with the shrimp so over cooked that they were black in...color, they were served with salsa instead of cocktail sauce. My Wifes chicken was so dry and breading again extremely over cooked, she couldn't even bite thru it. When we brought this to the managers attention (she wouldn't give us her name, we found out later it was Debbie) she said it was all cooked to their standard and that it was the venders fault, then gave us a bill for inedible food. Needless to say, we will never return or recommend to anyone, don't waste your money.More

Wasn't sure about this restaurant but decided we would try it while visiting the area. We wanted to do dinner before attending a show at All An Act community theater. We were very pleased. Seated quickly, food was great, crowded but not too noisy. Our...terrific waitress, Victoria, suggested some cider for my wife and it was a good drink choice. If you're looking for a good place with great food, go here. You will enjoy!More

Got a garden salad with ranch..1st thing i ate since raisin bran 8 hrs previous. One hour later had explosive diaharrea..Called there and asked to speak to kitchen mgr. Lady came on the line and i told her about it and that i thought it...must have been bad ranch (or mayo in the ranch)..maybe it was unwashed lettuce..(?) She said shed put my name on 'the board' for a free supper. Drove 17 miles in for it yesterday and told bartender melissa about it. She turned around, left me standing at the bar for 6 or 7 minutes (never said, "just a minute" or "i will go and see" or anything. 6 or 7 minutes later i see her working with the cash register down at the middle if the bar..I asked her what she found out..she again left and went into the kitchen....she came back out and said they knew nothing about it. I told her it was bad enough i got terribly sick and called in when it happened to prevent them from making other ppl sick, but now getting this treatment ?? I will never go there again..and neither should you..It sure has went downhill...both in foid cleanliness and in bartender attitude..More

What an evening. It looks small from the front, but I found 2 bars and 4 separate dining areas. Lot of college age people, but plenty of "more mature" folks that helped us feel comfortable. There were a few gay and trans people. Highly recommend...it!!! The stuffed potatoes we fab!!!More

A late lunch. The service was great and the food well prepared. Cost was reasonable. The iced tea was never empty. The server was cheerful. On street parking which you need to download an app. Not great for out-of-towners, but that has nothing to do...with the tavern; just a heads up.More

Really good! Visiting area and wanted local place to eat that wasn’t too expensive and casual atmosphere. Very happy we chose Plymouth Tavern. Sunday special was “double” wings (2 for 1 price). Ordered them dry with sauces on side. Cajun dry spice was awesome. Sweet...and spicy sauce was my favorite. Blue cheese dressing could use more “blue” to it. Pizza was great. Ordered their Italian. It passed the tip drool test. (Did not droop). It’s a medium thin crust. I’m not fan of thick crust. Zoe was our waitress. Really nice and knowledgeable about the menu.More

Every time we return to Erie, we visit the Plymouth. As usual, food and service was good. However, the noise was a bit overwhelming that night. But the food made us feel at home again. Will be back on our next visit.

Great bar in downtown Erie. Had good cold draft beers with onion rings & shrimp tacos. Sauce for tacos was excellent but could have used a bit more . Should have asked for additional sauce but the restaurant was very busy & we did not...want to bother the waitresses who seemed to be a bit overworked. Would definitely recommend it for a relatively inexpensive evening out . Good atmosphere as well.....highly recommend this for a casual evening out.More

Great local bar/tavern with good, reasonably priced food. Always seems to be busy for lunch and dinner. Nothing fancy but good quality 'bar food' served in a timely fashion and at reasonable prices. Kids love the place too. Large menu. Would recommend!

Enjoyed everything about this place. Frank was particularly splendid!! The crab cake sliders prepared specifically for us were the bomb! Should be on the menu! On our way to the theater and stopped, it was a great choice and we shall return. Tell your friends...and ask for Frank. Kudos to the chef!More
