What an evening. It looks small from the front, but I found 2 bars and 4 separate dining areas. Lot of college age people, but plenty of "more mature" folks that helped us feel comfortable. There were a few gay and trans people. Highly recommend...it!!! The stuffed potatoes we fab!!!More

A late lunch. The service was great and the food well prepared. Cost was reasonable. The iced tea was never empty. The server was cheerful. On street parking which you need to download an app. Not great for out-of-towners, but that has nothing to do...with the tavern; just a heads up.More

Really good! Visiting area and wanted local place to eat that wasn’t too expensive and casual atmosphere. Very happy we chose Plymouth Tavern. Sunday special was “double” wings (2 for 1 price). Ordered them dry with sauces on side. Cajun dry spice was awesome. Sweet...and spicy sauce was my favorite. Blue cheese dressing could use more “blue” to it. Pizza was great. Ordered their Italian. It passed the tip drool test. (Did not droop). It’s a medium thin crust. I’m not fan of thick crust. Zoe was our waitress. Really nice and knowledgeable about the menu.More

Every time we return to Erie, we visit the Plymouth. As usual, food and service was good. However, the noise was a bit overwhelming that night. But the food made us feel at home again. Will be back on our next visit.

Started going to the Plymouth 30 years ago. Still the same old bar with friendly people both servers and patrons. They have improved their food. The prices are reasonable and there is entertainment

Great bar in downtown Erie. Had good cold draft beers with onion rings & shrimp tacos. Sauce for tacos was excellent but could have used a bit more . Should have asked for additional sauce but the restaurant was very busy & we did not...want to bother the waitresses who seemed to be a bit overworked. Would definitely recommend it for a relatively inexpensive evening out . Good atmosphere as well.....highly recommend this for a casual evening out.More

Great local bar/tavern with good, reasonably priced food. Always seems to be busy for lunch and dinner. Nothing fancy but good quality 'bar food' served in a timely fashion and at reasonable prices. Kids love the place too. Large menu. Would recommend!

Enjoyed everything about this place. Frank was particularly splendid!! The crab cake sliders prepared specifically for us were the bomb! Should be on the menu! On our way to the theater and stopped, it was a great choice and we shall return. Tell your friends...and ask for Frank. Kudos to the chef!More

I know that they do accommodate private parties and I think they can handle groups over 50 people.

I do not believe smoking is allowed indoors but it is outside on the patio.
