Nice food on a rainy day. They were accommodating with food preferences. The pollo Mexicano and the huevos rancheros were good. No frills Mexican food.

We are on a never-ending search for good Mexican restaurants (See our other reviews!) In Erie, Los Toreros is our choice. We go every few months when in the area. The menu is varied and the atmosphere is clean and pleasant. We usually order a combination with rice and beans and when we leave, we are "licking our lips". The... More
My husband and I are frequent customers. Margaritas are EXCELLENT and very inexpensive all day Monday's and other weekdays until 6. Believe me - one is enough!!! Secondly the meals are huge. We split a dinner and there is plenty. Where can you go for dinner and drinks for a little over $20. Free chips and salsa. Great great service... More
We went to Torero's for lunch on a lazy afternoon. The service was prompt. My food was good but not great. My lunch was green chili chicken, and although tasty, it was rather bland. Everyone with me had American food, and they were all pleased. I feel I could have made a better choice off the menu.
We visited for our first time on Friday night around 9 PM. We were immediately greeted and seated. The menu is extensive. We chose beef enchiladas, chile relleno and beef chimichanga dinners. The portions were generous. Each entree was excellent, so too were the refried bean and rice. Complimentary chips and salsa were great. The chimi/relleno platter came with guacamole,... More
We visited this restaurant during our trip to Erie and were not disappointed. We tried tacos de carne asada, enchiladas and quesadilla. Everything was flavorful, the servings were huge and the place was nice. Service was very friendly and attentive.
This is our go to Mexican kitchen in Erie. The food is fresh (gosh I wish I could make RF beans like they do) and the portions are decent for the price. We really like lunch, but dinner is great. Their chips and salsa are freshly made and they are not stingy with refills. Likewise, their soda pop is a... More
Great service and awesome food. Just delicious. Even the kids loved it and they are picky eaters. Highly recommend. We will probably go one more time before we leave Erie. It's a nice, busy place.
We consulted trip advisor for a Mexican restaurant and selected Torero's based on their rating. Big mistake --- somehow, despite a long wait, our food came out cold! My hard shell taco was so soggy, it was almost inedible and my chicken enchilada was missing the chicken! My wife had the tortilla soup and the tortilla strips were soaked to... More
