Food was bland and mediocre. Service was fine. Food prices are outrageous for a diner. $6.49 for 2 small pancakes. Dinner was way over priced and did not live up to the menu description. I have paid less at an actual 4 star restaurant for...4 star food. Sorry this supposed diner will not be on my list again.More

I will be dining anywhere but the Trivet Diner from now on. We were there for breakfast today, I ordered a breakfast wrap with hashbrowns crispy. The wife ordered pancakes with bacon. The bacon never came, the hashbrowns were raw potato's with grease all over...them. I told the waitress I did not get what I ordered, she said "Well the kitchen staff is overwhelmed". then walked away. We called over the Owner/Manager, and when we told him, his answer was not anything you would expect. HE SAID: "Well what do you want me to do, if I talk to the waitress or the cook they will quit. SERIOUSLY? So the CUSTOMERS, the ones PAYING THE CASH should shut up and take what they get, because he can't run or manage his Restaurant and Staff? I have a better solution, We will eat elsewhere, and tell the world how terrible people are treated. Pay attention folks. WALK OUT. The ONLY PEOPLE They should care about are the CUSTOMERS, the people PAYING TO EAT THERE. #BusinessGoingDown.More

Stopped for lunch when passing through. This is one of two locations, and not actually a diner, but has that feel. Menu is old style comfort food - some good, some not so much. Decor is simple and functional. Service was good.

Great diner for breakfast, not eaten lunch or dinner here so can’t comment on that. Coffee was not bad. Service was great, quick and friendly.

We have been coming for years but today we hit bottom. Sandwiches were small and with less than 2oz. Of meat. Size of fries were less than a serving. When asked by the server how was everthing and explained she did not know what to...say. Even more puzzling when we paid and were asked how was everything and my response of not good was received as if I said nothing. I wish them well, but I might not be there to see it.More

3 guests. one had burger & fries - unremarkable but not bad. chicken cheesesteak - not bad flavor but about 2-3 tablespoons of chicken in a rather large roll - not worth 9$. turkey dinner - awful bland dry turkey, tasteless filling, gross gravy. staff...was disinterested. waitress we had took a long time to even greet us. she was abrupt and borderline cold. she only checked in on us once which was seconds after our meal was served which is pointless. really a poor experience all around. we wont be back.More

Stopped to visit an old friend and it was lunch time. "where can I take you that isn't a chain?" and she suggested Trivet Restauarnt. Good Choice. We were there late for a normal lunch time, so plenty of seating and good service. They had...maybe 6 items on the specials board, top item was Maryland Blue Crab ravioli. While I checked the whole menu, I chose the Crab Ravioli. My friend chose a salad. The ravioli might or might not have been from the freezer, but they were good. Served in their Alfredo sauce; OK but I'd maybe have made it a bit more cheesy, but they it would have over powered the ravioli. So. in the end, very good. She enjoyed her salad, and said it was good too. Our server was covering the entire restaurant, but service was excellent.More
