Huge selection of unique and seasonal beers. Quite a few of them have a high alcohol content. The servers are extremely attentive. This is probably because you will need help understanding the beers and getting explanations of the meals. The entrees are rather small portions of very unique items and flavors. Prices are a bit high and you may leave... More

We ate here once and the food and service was good. It is an interesting place as the atmosphere was cosy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new place to try.

We loved the food here! Very unique and tasty. This is not a bar with typical bar food. Yes, they have a ton of beer, but the food is something you would get at fancy restaurant. I know it's a beer place, but wish they would expand on their wine a bit. It's a small place so seating is tight,... More

We love a restaurant with a good story, and the Gastro Pub in Emmaus has a great story! 4226 Chestnut used to be the Cap & Table restaurant and Jennifer Funk was a bartender. Then one day, the wait staff shows up for work and the restaurant is shut down, vandalized and up for sale. After Jennifer calls the property... More

Took my wife there for brunch on our anniversary. The food here is always terrific! It's not just the same old thing. They have a very interesting menu and the food is always delicious! They also have one of the most comprehensive beer menus in the Lehigh Valley area. When we're looking for something different we always seem to end... More

Found the Trapp Door Gastropub on Trip Advisor while staying in the area. Wanted a location with a real farm to table feel and chef created presentations. The fact that they have an extensive, well-selected beer list was a huge plus. The food was to die for!! For an app I chose smoked trout and a pate. I was not... More

This Gastropub has great ambiance and is adorable in so many ways. The menu is creative and the style in the restaurant is so fancy yet rustic. This place is too packed however and we waited for a long time to be served a drink, at the bar, waiting in front of the bartender. She just wasn't attentive and it... More

We tried this place twice. Once not long after they opened, and again about 6 months later. It has an interesting look and feel inside. Very low lighting and rustic. It really does fit with the name. They did have a decent beer list. The food was not good. Most of it looked and tasted like reheated frozen. Ours came... More

Firstly if you like beer then this is the place for you. If you are mainly there for the food it is contemporary with many dishes having an interesting twist in a traditional meal. However it just falls short in my opinion when compared to the likes of "Grille 3501"

We drove about 40 minutes to get to this very unassuming little place- word of mouth was that it had a great variety of beers and some good pub food. Well, beer list was more than impressive, and my husband was even introduced to a new gluten-free beer that he loved. The food was out of this world- we had... More
