A friend suggested this restaurant! Wow! What an experience! If you like food (who doesn't) you will love this place!!! All home cooked home style food! We went for lunch and there was so much to choose from! Best advice, go hungry, stay awhile and...relax a little! If you can still walk (LoL), visit the humongous gift shop located in their basement under the restaurant. If you can't find something to buy, you haven't been through the whole store! Enjoy!!!More

This was our first time visit and will not be the last. The food was wonderful and the buffet selections were very good. I especially liked the was the seating was arranged and there were gloves at the entrance to the buffet line. This was...our first visit to a restaurant to eat inside since March.More

We drove here to meet up with relatives for an early dinner/late lunch. We arrived at 2 and there was a very long line out the door reaching out to the parking lot. Luckily, my cousin & her family were already in the lobby and...so we joined them. The line did move and we paid for our meals and we then proceeded to another line to be seated. This was our first time here (not my cousin's) and we've seen YouTubes about this place, but I was left a bit underwhelmed. The buffet, although plentiful, left a lot to be desired. The brisket was just "okay". I found the best part of the buffet was the desserts. Not sure if I'd return or make a special trip out here.More

The Shady Maple Smorgasbord is impressive. The buffet stretches a whole block. Plus there are grilling stations. I was there on a Wednesday and enjoyed the Roast Beef that was carved at the grill station. There are many salads, sides, entrees, and desserts to choose...from. You will not walk away hungry.More

Nice atmosphere, but that’s all. This place must survive on tourists, we come here for breakfast now and then and it’s ok, came for dinner last Friday night and the food was TERRIBLE! The “smoked” brisket wasn’t smoked, it was the driest piece of shoe...leather I’ve ever had, and the person carving it carved it with the grain so it was tough and dry. The chicken was so dry I expected tumbleweeds to roll by. My wife tried the fish, I didn’t think it was possible to dry something out that much that lived in water it’s while life, dessert was ok, but for dinner, save your money, McDonalds is truly better food, and I never in my life thought I would say that about any restaurant.More

Um .. wow. What a place. It was a madhouse when we first tried going on a Saturday afternoon. Line bout half a mile out the door. Not even joking. So we left and stopped on our way home for breakfast today. Still a line,...once you got in the door. Though it went fairly quick. The food line was massive. Everything on the buffet you would expect, and they had separate lines where you got order pancakes any way you want them, or eggs in a separate line. I was able to get freshly made eggs Benedict. Yum! So much food to choose from. Drinks as well. I can't wait to come back and try dinner.More

Had seen a review of this place on YouTube and put it on my must do list when in the area. The staff was friendly and answered questions so that we knew the process for using the buffet. They did have gloves and sanitizer if...people close that path. The night we were there they had rib eyes that were cooked to perfection. Never seen such a buffet in my life. The food was tasty, hot, and we'll maintained. I wanted to try new items and found some new favorites. This is a great place to eat. It is large but they handle the crowd well. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Very clean. Excellent value.More

Went there 10-9-21 for supper. Featured was crap cakes, Perogies and fried shrimp. This was my first visit. I was by myself and seated in the "Busing area" mean thats where they collected dirty dishes, First thing i usually do at a place like this...is to "scout" the buffet and see what's there. i made a Pass then looked for the crab cakes and had to ask. I got 4 and I'm glad because those were the only ones put out for the hour i was there. I got a couple fried shrimp, some mashed potatoes, some kind of corn casserole. When to get a drink. The fountain serving coke was broken. first off the glass was tiny, I mean like 6 ounces maybe, so i got 2, The crab cakes were ok. When i say ok i mean like nothing at all special. Mrs. Paul's were better, The fried shrimp was salty and nothing special. Again Mrs. Paul's seafood brand were better, Now the Fried chicken. Supposed to me famous or something like that. I have never had greasier fried chicken, Also Salty to the point of being inedible, Seriously I was laughing about it to myself. I left it and went back and got some of the famous roast beef. It was masticated to the point of being mush, One bite and i was done. at that point i just left, If i hadnt been on the road all day i would have gotten my money back, im not a picky eater but for 26.00 it was bad.More

The line to get into the restaurant was intense, but the folks running the place have definitely mastered a system that keeps folks moving from the moment they queue up outside, get to the register, get seated, and get into the food area. They also...have what must be the largest giftshop in Pennsylvania. Husband and I were seated at a two-top. They have a system so the hosts know when a table is and is not occupied. They were very accommodating when I needed to be close to the serving area because I have difficulty walking and use a cane. The serving area is overwhelming. There is just so much to choose from. I think I ate every part of a cow. Some of the food was meh, but if you use your eyes and judgement, it isn't too hard to find the right stuff. The desserts were also great. My only concern is COVID. There wasn't really any masking and the buffet operated like any other buffet pre-COVID. I'm not sure what a touchless buffet is supposed to mean, but I don't think that's what was going on. Anyhow, at about $25 per adult I thought the value was pretty good--especially if you skip the salad bar and eat your own weight in strip steak and brisket. I'd come back, though probably not on a Saturday night! ...and I probably should get a COVID test.More
