The best atmosphere. The food is great and the service is phenomenal. My husband and I love to have dinner at the bar because the atmosphere is amazing.

Always seated promptly. Wait staff friendly and welcoming. This is an old stage coach stop from the 1800's that has kept it's charm, old time decor nicely done. We sat in the Tap Room. There is also a dining room. Food is fresh and tasty.

After dining there last year while working in the area, I was anxious to return. The restaurant was full, but there was one seat at the bar. I ended up having a great meal and also great conversation with the friendly people sitting around me! The oysters Rockefeller are amazing and the seafood salad was great-order the scallops broiled as... More

Stopped by on a Thursday night at the suggestion of a friend - glad we did. We arrived about 5:45 (in time for the Early Bird menu) and found the food to be excellent. (Although the EB menu has smaller portions, they were the right size for us.) The decor was nicely done and very comfortable. Staff was professional. For... More

We live nearby & eat there frequently. We have never had a bad meal or bad service. It is a family-run business & they really try hard to please you (and succeed). They have a varied menu with several features of the evening. Their fish is always fresh & prepared excellently. Have had their steaks often & the chef-owner always... More

Arrived at opening time (5 pm) on a Friday evening in March. Seated promptly. Wait staff friendly and welcoming. This is an old stage coach stop from the 1800's that has kept it's charm. We sat in the Tap Room. There is also a dining room. Food is fresh and tasty. We both had specials that evening..he the crab stuffed... More

I went for the Delmonico in peppercorn & mushroom sauce. Was not pleased with the result. I asked for the steak medium well, it was well done. The meat was still tasty but the sauce was a disappointment. There was barely any mushrooms & the peppercorn was weak. It should have been more peppery. I's had steaks in peppercorn sauce... More

Thank you for your recent visit to our restaurant. i'm sorry we did not meet all your expectations...If your steak was not cooked properly, you should have brought it to your servers attention in order to correct the doneness. I am not sure what too lamby taste is as most patrons look for lamb flavor but that is indeed personal... More

Had dinner there on Thursday evening and loved everything. The steak was done to perfection, salads were good and overall it was a very nice experience. We look forward to returning. We especially like the decorative outdoor and indoor lighting and hope they keep it year round since it makes an ordinary building special.

The food is very pleasant. We shared a Brie with a berry sauce that was super, and the entrees were good also. But the knock here is that it was a 2 hour meal. Granted they were busy, and I did call ahead for a table. So, if you have the time, give it a try.

Thank you for sharing with us your recent dining experience. We do cook everything fresh for each customer's order so Brie does take 20-25 minutes to prepare. I am glad you enjoyed and realized it after eating this appetizer. Sometimes things like this extends a diner's meal. This may have caused an unexpected meal time but we want our customers to...
