Went there today for a late lunch with my elderly parents. Approx 2pm. We were seated promptly and given menus to make our selection, but given no time to choose. Waitress was rude and rushed us. Acted miffed that we needed more time to decide. Slammed down our food and then had the audacity to ask me if I would... More

This diner was recommended by a staff member at the Moravian Tile Museum. Unlike most diners in the area that have chrome and neon exteriors, this place is a converted house. The atmosphere was casual and homey. The staff was cheerful and attentive. It was Saturday, so it was busy, and we grabbed a seat at the counter instead of... More

Been going to Cross Keys Diner for years now and yes it's crowded, especially on the weekends and yes the wait staff sometime show up at your table for your order about 10 seconds after you sit down but, once you come to know them, the place and all of its character, only place I would go to for breakfast....... Great diner food... always crowded, and now with the increased population in this area (ugh), almost always a wait. But, they work really hard (unlike a lot of other restaurants in the area) to turn their tables and deliver a great experience. Kudos to the only real diner in the area!

1st visit but not my last. Had the John Chapman omelet. So good and uses local produce which is great. Applewood sausage and plum preserves just melted in every bite. Liked they have a regular menu but also had the specials which I think may change every once in a while. Coffee was very good and once seated service and... More

Great food, good people and service. If you're going on a weekend for breakfast you might have to wait but its worth it. Unique specials every time.

Stopped Sunday about 10:30 am. The diner was full and we had to wait for few minutes. Food was very good and service is great. I had apple pancakes and my wife had eggs Benedict - both were great. Coffee was fresh. Will stop again if will be in the area

We've been going to Cross Keys Diner since we moved to Doylestown a few years ago. We did experience a negative incident during one of our first visits where we found a large piece of plastic in my wife's (who was pregnant at the time) omelette. Owner was very apologetic and we understood this might have been an isolated incident,... More

One of my go to places for breakfast with friendly servers and nice portions. Fresh eggs, bacon, sausage or pancakes are excellent and there are usually specials on the chalk board. Reasonable prices and although parking and waiting for tables on weekends can be a problem, it's worth the effort.

We often saw the long lines on the weekends and wondered is it really that great? No, it's not. It's ok, it's loud, it's crowded on weekends, closes early and apparently "run out of the more interesting items" early. Not sure if I'd go back.
