We all liked our food. However, I felt confused about the chimichangas though. My daughters (veggie) apparently didn’t come with beans so she ordered a side (and it was on the check.) Mine (pork) did come with beans supposedly, (I had a choice and I...chose refried) but there were no beans in my chimichanga or on my plate . Also, the veggie one had rice in it but mine did not . I had no rice or beans . Just pork. Why would one chimichanga come with rice & or beans but not the other ? I didn’t want to complain at the time so I didn’t say anything. But left without the full flavor. Years ago the chimichanga was much better, cake with rice & beans. One girl had a veggie quesadilla. She & my daughter felt there was mostly just red cabbage in their dinners. The other girl had a wet & wild and that seemed perfect .More

Just the worst Mexican food ever. Drinks are terrible. Stick to beer. But the comedy club upstairs is great fun and an entertainment bargain.More

The food is just mediocre. I will say the service is fabulous. They have a great happy hour. The salsa is very good. There’s only one thing that order anymore because it’s not worth experimenting and that is tacos.

Perhaps I was expecting more than I should have. I was disappointed when I looked at the margarita menu and all they offered was Jose Cuervo for the tequila. For a Mexican restaurant you would think they would offer better tequila. Jose Cuervo is bottom...shelf. Give me my patron, my 1800. They did have those but you have to ask for it. We sat at the bar where there was a distinct smell of cleaner that wafted through the air assaulting my nostrils, taking away from our enjoyment. The barmaid was less than attentive and to be honest I would have expected an offer of chips and salsa. Here's my real problem. Why was my margarita in a bamboo glass. WTH? And my margarita was much too tart. Last but certainly not least, there was a guy vaping in the restaurant. Nope. Not cool.More

We had just reviewed a dinner at Poco's very positively. With a lunch hour free one day we decided to go to Poco's. What a shock! No friendly greeting, the waitress seemed annoyed and boarded on being unfriendly. I made the mistake of ordering a...food item based on the description in the menu which I had never ordered before, That item was a plate of "green" slop with so few of the ingredients mentioned that it was totally flat, a side salad was brown. The waitress as she was walking by asked about the food but was 25 feet away before we could answer. She was never seen again. Is there a takeaway from this lunchtime disaster? 1) Don't assume you will find the same experience at lunch at Pocos as at dinner. 2) Don't order an item with which you have had no experience. When asked for comment on the Poco website don't expect that it will be read or responded to. All this has us off Poco's for the near term.More

Maxnmandysmom1 - You should be ashamed of yourself for both attacking a man's business and attacking a man personally. You have no idea what it takes to run a restaurant and your statement about an "Unfriendly Welcome" is simply not true. Friday and Saturday nights in a restaurant are extremely busy. We are in business to not only accommodate you but to also accommodate the hundreds of other patrons. The owner of Poco's has renovated the restaurant to add 20 more bar stools to better accommodate customers that only want to relax and have a drink. There is a wait list for customers that would like to sit and have dinner. In an effort to accommodate both types of patrons a business has to make certain decisions to best serve EVERYONE! With that being said, how dare you say you "feel sorry" for his employees. I have worked FOR and WITH him for over half my life and he is an amazing human being. Again, you should be ashamed of yourself. You owe both the owner of Poco's an apology as well as any one who read your review because it is SIMPLY not true.
