Higher end Chinese food

There are not a lot of authentic Chinese restaurants in the area. This restaurant appears to serve more authentic and higher end ingredients than others in town. The staff is prompt, food is tasty, servings are proportionate and the prices are on the higher end of Chinese restaurants. The dine-in crowd is light but take out serves seems robust.

Doylestown Delight!

We went here last night for the 1st time at the recommendation of another couple and cannot wait to go back again. The service was very friendly and the food was the best Chinese food we ever had in Bucks County, PA. We had Pork Ribs, Sesame Chicken, Shrimp w. Garlic Sauce and Mongolian Beef. All were delicious and the Mongolian Beef was the very favorite. Highly recommend Kung Fu.

Pan-Asian Really, but So Good

We got the vegetable pad thai, which obviously isn't Chinese, but was really good. The sauce was sweeter than we're used to, but it was sooooo delicious. So were the potstickers. We got he dumplings "fried," but they're only fried on the bottom, and steamed for another minute or so, which is a classic potsticker. The dipping sauce was right on. This was good, because I really wanted potstickers, not deep fried dumplings. We had to order through Doordash this time. We hope to try other items in the future, in person, or not, as the governmental rules at the time dictate.

good ramen, for doylestown

Kung Fu ramen? Ramen is not Chinese, so yes, Pan Asian. The restaurant is cute and intimate. The servers were attentive and friendly. A very nice place overall, but nothing to go crazy over. The ramen had everything it needed (though the fish cake slice was the diameter of a dime--small, and there could have been more roast pork). The cucumber salad was quite tasty. but the sad appetizer was the pork buns. the pork belly was just a tiny sliver, and at 12 bucks for 2 buns, it was disappointing. oh well, Doylestown.

Best Chinese Food

I have never craved or wanted Chinese food. I only ate it when my family wanted it. This has changed ever since I tried Kung Fu. I am always requesting it for dinner. Their food is top quality. I have tried numerous items but I would say my favorites are the shrimp pad thai and kung pao chicken.

Large lunch special

My daughter and I had a great lunch here. They have lunch specials which included soup. It was a chilly day and the miso and wonton soups were delicious. We had chicken dishes accompanied by rice and we both took half of it home for another day. These were just as good. Staff was very friendly.

Amazing Quality

OMG. Not only is this the best Chinese food I ever had and I’ve been to China, it’s one of the best meals you will find. I can’t get enough. Flavorful, spicy if that’s your thing, just really quality food. Well done Kong Fu. You have a fan in me.

Empty for a Reason

Absolutrly Horrible. The place is always empty and after eating there, I can see why. Just think about the name. "Kung Fu" That hasn't been on TV since I was 10 years old and that was over 50 years ago.

This is some really yummy tea. We ordered a black guava with Mango bubbles and honey milk tea with lychee bubbles, both were very very good. The person who took and made our order was also friendly and helpful. About $15 for 2 large teas - def worth it.

Decent food downtown

Ordered during lock down because we couldn't fine any Asian restaurants that were open. The food is pretty good and I would like an opportunity to try the full menu. I will be back.

This place is the best around!

I often thought I wanted to try this place but I'd forget and I came home late and didn't feel like cooking so my hubby and I had dinner here last night. We had the dumpling that were very good, we had the hot sour soup which was spicy but good. I had the mongolian beef which was probably the best I had since NYC or in Chinatown in Philly. My hubby ordered sesame chicken and we took a take out for my son knowing he would appreciate dinner after a long day. They both said the sesame chicken was great. Service was great and we can't wait to go back. I am going to go for lunch asap too. Best Chinese Asian food locally and just about the best I had in a very long time anywhere.

Good Chinese food, prepared

Good Chinese food, prepared well (i.e., not overcooked and drowned in sauces), but pretty weird/poor service. Four of us on a Sunday evening, early; were the only diners when we entered at 4:45, but they clearly were doing a decent takeout business. Four of us, ordered two appetizers, one soup, three entrees. Long wait after we ordered (again, not crowded), got two of the entrees first, then the two appetizers and soup, and then after an even longer wait the last entree. Staff was polite and apologetic, but not efficient or organized at all. Then it was a wait again for the check. Bottom line, good Chinese food in Doylestown (in the borough, so of course parking can be a challenge), just don’t be in any kind of hurry or concerned about the order you eat everything in.

Best Chinese Ever

Had a wonderful dinner at Kung Fu tonight. Homemade pork dumplings were the best we ever had. Fabulous flavor in the shrimp ramen. Food is authentic and just delicious. Will definitely be back.
