We visited this restaurant between Christmas and the New Year. They were more busy than normal. Somehow our appetizer order was misplaced. When our server noticed that our appetizer had not been served, she immediately apologized and comped us, and then notified the owner. The...owner apologized for the oversight and comped us for the appetizer and 2 desserts. My wife had scallops as her entree. The scallops were jumbo-sized and cooked to perfection. I had the Angelina fish and pasta dish which was delicious. Desserts were scrumptious.

Wether you're taking a date for a romantic meal or meeting a large group of friends you'll feel very comfortable. The food is Italian of course, there are so many excellent choices and signature dishes you will find several choices you want. I recommend starting...with the Schipelle soup ("just like mom used to make" I don't know who's mom but thank you) it is delicious. The lasagna is so light and quite filling. Save room for dessert and the complimentary limoncello.More
Tucked out of the way, a hidden gem in Downingtown. If your party is larger than 2 make a reservation as the restaurant isn't that large. Make sure to get the soup "like grandma made" the antipasto is enough for 4, the entire meal was...excellent and so much food we didn't have room for desert. They offer you limoncello at the end of your meal, it was one of the best I have ever drank.More
You have to know where St. Anthony's is t get there. You would not stubble upon it. Under the one lane bridge viaduct rd. Once there parking is ample. This is not a pretentious place, low ceilings, plan décor. The food is very good and...in large quantities with a friendy staff. Prices are very friendlyMore
