We discovered this gastropub 3 years ago during a lacrosse tournament and make it a point to eat here every time we are in town. We are not beer connoisseurs so we cannot comment on the brews, but we are definite foodies and appreciate the appetizing dishes and versatile menu. In the past 3 years, we have eaten lunch, brunch... More

The only thing better than the beer selection is the food. A must stop if passing near Downingtown, PA.

Been there several times for the mussels and the shrimp and grits. They are both fantastic. Last time though, had a couple of problems. both were cold and not cooked they way they normally were. Sent them back and they returned with the shrimp and grits cold again. Manager came over and apologized and when they came back they were... More

Excellent beers, terrific food. Great truffle fries. Selection of craft beers and they focus on select liquors.

Looks are deceiving! We drove by the first time - it's very unassuming from the outside. Inside is very inviting, a little loud, but nice. Most of the tables are bar height, but there is a small section in front which has regular tables. The bar serves a nice variety of beers on tap. The food is fresh and cooked... More

This place is very unique, and the food is excellent! If you like beer, they have a good selection as well. It is rather small, so getting a table is sometimes an issue, but it is well worth it.

I live in town and frequent "the Taproom" often. Even with many other options popping up, I still love the small taproom, very friendly staff that you get to know, great food out of a tiny kitchen... and craft beer for me and a wine selection for my girlfriend. The decor is right up there with a coffee shop. Local... More

Consistently good food and great service. Nice selection of beers that are rotated frequently. Try the just opened expansion, the Tasting Room. Nice apps and a walk full of beers from around the world. You won't be disappointed unless you go during prime weekend evening hours; it gets busy but that's a great sign that you're at 'the' place in... More

The food is really good! It's very tiny inside, not a lot of seating. The menu is very creative. I loved the brunch.
