The food is excellent! Their mushroom soup: suberb. So many of the items are smoked or grilled, hence "Out of the FIre" name. This is one of the best-loved restaurants in the area. They have a deck for dining outside if weather permits, overlooking the Laurel Highlands. Because of its proximity to ski resorts, hiking trails and state parks, casual... More

I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and it was located really close to the hotel I had booked for our visit to Falling Waters and two other FLW designed homes. Per the reviews, I expected a good meal, but I didn't expect a fantastic meal! WOW! My husband and I ate there twice and would have gone back a... More

We visited PA this week, specifically to see Falling Water. The countryside is spectacular, with the Fall Colors on display. Restaurants however are not easy to find amidst all these back road hamlets. We checked trip advisor, and this one was closest...excellent food, fresh, unique pairings, good staff, large quantities.

We spent the night in Donegal, and this was the most highly recommended restaurant in the area. The food was excellent and the portions were ample. The a la carte prices are not inexpensive, but for alcoholic beverage drinkers, the savings on the bar bill more than makes up for the food costs. If you are heading to Fallingwater, this... More

My son told us about this restaurant. We were ending our vacation travels and decided to try it. It was about a 4 hour trip from our home but definitely worth the trip. As everyone says in the reviews, you must try the mushroom soup. EXCELLENT! We had lunch and our sandwiches were very tasty. The atmosphere was casual and... More

For the price we paid ($95 for 2 people), I was hoping it would be more impressive. Or at least were given some sort of bread/salad to go with our meals. My husband and I both ordered the specials for the weekend (I got fish and he got duck). Yes, it was good, but I wasn't blown away. We also... More

We love this restaurant. We watched it grow from a small hole in the wall smoked salmon deli type place into the full scale terrific restaurant it now is. This restaurant would be a hit in any location. We are just glad it is in our neighborhood.

Well prepared food served by compete staff. This rural area features beer six pack stores, pizza and fried chicken. Out of the Fire provides sanctuary for good food. BYOB is a bonus.

Thank goodness for social media and the ability to search for highly rated restaurants to be found a short distance from the highway. Gone are the days of fast food service station lunches during long road trips. While driving from Maryland to Ohio, we were hoping to find a nice place to stop for lunch. We found a listing for... Out of the Fire Cafe is a family owned and operated casual restaurant serving New American cuisine year round. We have been creating flavors amidst laughter and friends since the year 2007. The Cafe is tucked into the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania, conveniently located near area ski resorts, Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, numerous state parks, and the rushing Pennsylvania Turnpike. Out of the Fire Cafe welcomes guests with an open kitchen where guests are able to peer into a mesmerizing scene of flashing flames and artistic finesse. The spacious dining area is complimented by an incredible view of the Laurel Highlands ridgeline. Deck dining is offered when the weather permits giving diners the opportunity to take in the rolling countryside. We are a Bring Your Own Beer or Wine establishment so don't forget to snag your beverage of choice. For a reservation please call the phone number listed below.
