We went here on a recommendation during a two night getaway and found it to be our new favorite restaurant in the area! We come to this area annually but had never stopped here. We were so impressed that we came back again the next night and found the food to be even better. Everything we had was excellent, and... More

This was a lovely find in the rural area. The food was excellent and the service was great. It was BYOB and they took great care of us (group of 6) on their patio and although the weather was a little rainy, they were able to shift the umbrellas and seat us under the patio cover.

Attended a rehearsal dinner here and while the space was fine service was limited to one server and the kitchen was very slow! The food was good and server did her best but maybe it was just too much or poor planning.

Very good food but is a little pricey but sometimes you have to pay for good food. Coming here since its inception.

I had a stepped up BLT, so it had a slice of avocado on it...It was average at best. I had their famous roasted mushroom soup and it was good. My bill for bowl of soup and BLT , with a glass of water was $ 19.00 dollars plus. SO you do pay for location which is ok occasionally. My... More

We stopped here for lunch after spending the afternoon in the Somerset/Donegal area. We were told the food was very good & it most certainly was. I had the BLT special with sweet potato fries & my husband had the Reuben. We both were very impressed. The sandwiches were big. I brought 1/2 of mine home. The waitstaff was friendly &... More

A overnight stop for Fallingwaters detour on the way back home, just over the hill from the Holiday Inn Express, we found this great stop! Nice scenery and a perfect evening to enjoy the patio deck dining. Went with the Bruschetta for an appetizer, generous bowl of the Wild Mushroom Cream soup ( highly recommend and a signature dish) and... More

We were recommended to this restaurant by Janet from the Glades Inn and we were very pleased. We all had different entrees and they were all great most especially the Salmon Salad which was huge and had great pieces of Portobello Mushrooms along with really good Salmon and Osso Buco which was tender, flavorful and just really good. There was... More

We really enjoy the food and love BYOB. The corkage fees are average compared to other restaurants we have gone to. The place can get extremely busy since it is one of very few choices in the area. If crowded, the acoustics can cause a lot of noise and make it difficult to have a discussion with a large group... More

This is a fantastic place that I enjoy as much for lunch as I do dinner. I usually eat seafood however there are many options for meat eaters, vegatarians, and vegans. They allow BYOB with a corking fee. The atmosphere is quaint however acoustics are lacking as background noise can be an issue especially when the restaurant is crowded.

Out of the Fire Cafe is a family owned and operated casual restaurant serving New American cuisine year round. We have been creating flavors amidst laughter and friends since the year 2007. The Cafe is tucked into the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania, conveniently located near area ski resorts, Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, numerous state parks, and the rushing Pennsylvania Turnpike. Out of the Fire Cafe welcomes guests with an open kitchen where guests are able to peer into a mesmerizing scene of flashing flames and artistic finesse. The spacious dining area is complimented by an incredible view of the Laurel Highlands ridgeline.
