It's a Pittsburgh thing--and a good one at that!

Nice spot for casual food. Not just sandwiches, but that is obviously the real draw for the restaurant. Our boys can be fussy eaters, but they really liked their sandwiches. We had them remove the cole slaw though. The restaurant was busy, but our service was good. I'd definitely go back.

Surely everyone knows that turnover is the name of the game in restaurants But I've been more comfortable in church pews The food is fine, a little sloppy But quite good It's kind of like a stadium experience

This is the sammich that Pittsburgh is known for. Its delicious and if you don't want to drive all the way to the strip district original one this is a good spot

I always make it a point to visit the Primanti Brothers when I return home. The kids really enjoyed the huge order of French fries that was very reasonably priced.

We stopped for lunch on a long day of travel to enjoy their famous and great sandwiches. We noticed that we had been a waiting a bit longer than usual for lunch but didn't say anything. The manager came up to us to apologize about the wait and comp our entire meal. He even offered to give us free dessert... More

We were visiting friends and they wanted us to experience the Primanti sandwich. They put fries and coleslaw on it (you can add extra meat and fried egg). The menu is large with lots of other items (my daughter had a burger, it was good!). We enjoyed our roast beef and pastrami sandwiches; they serve them on thick Texas toast... More

I had the Roethlisberger. It's not exactly a burger. However, it was ok. Considering it's a Pittsburgh must do, I'm glad I did. However, I don't feel the need to return.

I've probably been to Primanti's a half dozen times, but it's never my first choice. Putting fries and coleslaw on a sandwich make everything soggy. When you ask for them on the side, the sandwich becomes almost less than average, but the fries are good.

Liked it so much on Monday, I went back again on Thursday. Generous sandwiches, salads, Pizza. Very reasonable prices. Sports bar atmosphere, but not loud. Separate dinning areas if you want it even quieter.
