We’re in town helping some friends move and came here for dinner after a long day. We were told there was a 2 hour wait for the dining room but the bar area was open. Not sure if this is the usual or if they...were just especially busy. We sat in the bar area and had great food and service. Would definitely Recommend the lobster spinach queso and the cheesecake.More

My husband, daughter and I made a reservation for dinner to celebrate her birthday. First time out since the beginning of March so we were all excited to get out and enjoy an evening together. We started with dinner in the dining room which was...great! The food was as good as we remembered and the wait staff was inviting and friendly despite having to wear masks and gloves while serving the tables. Every other table was seated so social distancing was not an issue. Firebirds definitely demonstrates sincere concern for the safety of their employees and customers. After dinner we asked our waitress if the bar was open for drinks and she replied that it was. The three of us proceeded to the bar for after dinner drinks. Several areas of the bar were marked closed for distancing purposes and there were two bar stools arranged at each open area. As we approached the bar, we scoped out the scene cognizant of respecting everyone's space. There was a gentleman seated at the far end on one side and a couple on the other side toward the middle. We decided to pull a third stool up into the wide open space on the side with the lone man. As we did, we were told by the bartender that we couldn't move any stools. Ok? Can one of us stand behind the other two? No. ????? We just had dinner together. We drove together. We live together. Does any of this make sense??? The bartender was not polite about shutting us down, by the way. This is new to everyone. No need to make us feel embarrassed and foolish! We took our party to another venue down the road where we were told they allow 4 guests to be together at the bar, standing or sitting. Firebirds - I sincerely respect the efforts you put forth to protect everyone but you might want to reevaluate the policies that simply don't make sense.More

Some restaurants in our area are struggling trying to figure out how to do carry out only and some restaurants have figured it out. Firebirds has figured it out. To go service is excellent, the food is always warm when we get home, and the...quality has not suffered at all compared to eating in the restaurant. The family meal deal is a great value. We have tried firebirds chicken pasta—great spice! We have also had the wood grilled salmon and center cut sirloin—both have been excellent as well.More

Read about this restaurant in Trip Advisor and it was close to our hotel. The grilled salmon was excellent. So was the Pepper Sirloin and coconut shrimp. A cut above in value (and price) from some of the other restaurants we ate at in the...area.More

The first time at Firebirds I had chicken and vegetable skewers that were so dry and uninteresting. But, friends of ours wanted to go so I thought we will try it again. We shared the seafood pasta. with two side salads. We should have just...had the salads because they were fantastic. Once again the main dish was almost horrible! $25 seafood pasta - 4 shrimp and 3 scallops (we each had two shrimp and I had one scallop and my husband had two) and lots of dry uninteresting pasta. Oh, there was a little [was it feta?] crumbled on top and some tiny specks of squash. I didn't know you could cut squash so small. They could feed 100 people on the one squash they used in our pasta - that's how much (or hos little) we got in our pasta. The cocktails were weak and flavorless. That is one place I will NOT return to. I don't even know why they are there serving such horrible food. The waitress was very nice and did try to be friendly.More

The open seating in the bar area is ridiculous! On a busy Saturday evening, it was a free for all. No matter what order you walked in, if someone who came in later & saw a table becoming vacant & were faster than you, they...got the table. A staff member should assist people get a table in a fair manner. I may go back for lunch, but not a dinner service without a reservation.More

Picked up the name of restaurant from the Apple map recommendation . Though the review was not great, we thought we will give it a try as the menu sounded interesting. To get a seat it was quick and the hostess was very cordial. It...was our first visit. Ben our steward was also very hospitable and gave us a quick reco. when we asked for it. We went for Shrimp Tacos with a Roast potato side in a creamy cheesy sauce and a smoked chicken sandwich with English Chowder soup. Real usher every bit of the food and not to forget the warm bread was great too. Ben did a great job in taking care of our request. The pricing was also very good for the ambiance and quality of food. Definitely a place I would recommend.More
