The beer is cold and the people are very welcoming, but there is a smell of the major renovations being done here. They expect to be finished in the fall of 2016. The smell was so overwhelming, that I didn't try the food.

Stopped in the bar when we arrived in town and had a long talk with one of the employees. Good craft beer selection. Came back later for dinner. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Very historic old building.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch last week. We had lunch in the middle room, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall and speckled with what I can only assume was mold. The windows and woodwork look like they hadn't been cleaned in years! The only good part about our meal was the French Onion soup, it was... More

We, admittedly, were going to eat at Olga's, but there were 14 of us, and they said they weren't ready for us, so we went across the street to Hotel Crittendon. Oh, we were so happy we did. The food was amazing, and the staff were the friendliest people! My friend had the lasagna, and it was full of cheesy... More

Thanks to Bryan for providing great hospitality and service. We wandered in right before they opened at noon. Bryan was very hospitable, served up some micros from there nice selection of both bottles and draft, and made us a very good lunch. The portions were huge; the beer was cold. Great job.

Five of us met at the Crittenden for dinner. We immediately had to move into the back of the farthest away room from the entertainment as it was so loud we could not hear each other, even when leaning in and shouting. I asked the waitress what wines they had and she did not know if they even had wine... More

I've eaten here 3 times now and have never been disappointed. I have to admit though I've had the steak every time. There is a reason though. It's delicious! Thick, juicy, and perfectly cooked to medium rare as ordered. All the sides I've had were great as well. Amazing asparagus and wasabi mashed potatoes. The building is old but still... More

The burgers are awesome, the beer mussels to die for and the specials are an unexpected, sometimes exotic treat for a town as small as Coudersport. Wednesday Wing night is an especially fun time with a great variety of chicken and duck wings available PLUS very pleasant live music. The drinks prices are very fair and the remodeled tap room... We were a large group, which is always difficult for any establishment. The salad bar, which is also touted as an alternate meal, was too heavy on starches, with not enough variety of "sa;ad" stuff, and the bowls were not refilled. The salmon was delicious.

Hello and thank you for your visit to our hotel and restaurant. We appreciate you visit and do apologize for your sub-par experience. It was a Tuesday and this tends to be our slowest night as we are a very small town. Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday are when there is more excitement. The vegetable was beer braised cabbage and there... More

My girlfriend and I went to the Hotel Crittenden expecting a good meal and a great experience based upon reviews we had read. I am giving them a 2 rating purely because they gave us our meals for free when I complained. We should have realized that this was not going to be a good experience when we entered the... More
