Mario's is a classic, family owned Italian restaurant. From the moment you open the door you know you are in for a great experience. A friendly greeting from the manager Sue who takes you to your table or the bar...your choice. Choose the bar for good conversation with two of the outstanding bar tenders, Ashley or Missy. Top shelf spirits... More

We used to live in Moon Township and frequented Marios as they serve my husband's favorite linguini with white clam sauce. Our trip back this year did not disappoint--we started with the fried zucchini appetizer which was HUGE & delicious--definitely enough for 4 people so we left quite a bit on the platter. The salads were fresh and good. The... More

The food was alright in my view. The eggplant Parmesan was disappointing at best. The salad was pathetic to say the least. The lettuce was bad and dark. I hope they take care of the small things and the big stuff will take care of itself.

The restaurant was small and full but after tasting the food I can see why. Each member ordered something different, and all were satisfied. Big portions so sharing would be a good idea. Waitresses were friendly and efficient. All good.

We ate at Mario's after a day at the U.S. Open, we met up with out of town family members who knew of this place, located in a little shopping plaza it doesn't look like much but boy do they aver make up for it in side with the atmosphere and food!! I would rank this at the top of... More

Nothing real negative, nothing real positive. Minestrone was a little bland , my wife's pasta tasted salty and my chicken parmigiana was on the rather small side. Bread was excellent. Stopped here after wife's flight was delayed, so we arrived at the restaurant about 9:30 and the restaurant closed at 10 PM, so when we left several of the kitchen... More

This is an understated Italian restaurant, in a strip mall. Don't let that stop you. The food is excellent, and the staff is always very nice, and accommodating. It is a favorite of the locals.

Ambiance is too dim and low key. Broiled sole and garlic bread were well prepared. Also a good choice of beers. As an Italian, I tend to stay away from pasta when I am abroad, and indeed I have to say my neighbor's looked a little overcooked as usual in the US. Service ok.

This was a nice Italian restaurant. Nothing fancy but very welcoming. The service staff were engaging and the food portions were large.

This is a review I should have written long ago. My wife and I and friends have dined here many times over the past 23 years. Our last time was this past Tuesday, 19 January, 2016. We always dined here the night before flying from Pittsburgh airport on a trip. The food, service and wine - the best! Mario's service... More
