With 5 open tables on the patio, the kind hostess (wasn’t her fault) told my friend and I (it was her birthday) to wait outside and she’ll seat us as soon as possible. Twenty minutes later the hostess told us her management said they were...unable to seat anyone for the rest of the night and we weren’t allowed to eat here. I’ve never had a restaurant tell me I want allowed to eat somewhere. Absolutely mind blown by the disrespect, lack of business ethics, and poor management skills displayed by whoever the manager was this evening. Will think twice before coming here again.More

This is a nice Mexican restaurant in an historic building on Main Street in a small town in Pennsylvania. The atmosphere is great, with two serving levels and an outside patio. The servers are friendly and helpful. The food is great. I recommend the Tacos....We had an Ahi Tuna Taco, Lobster Roll Taco and Alligator Taco, and throughly enjoyed them. The only drawback is the service was slow on a busy post Covid Saturday evening, but we weren't in a hurry and just sat back and enjoyed the small town atmosphere while sitting on the patio and relaxing. I recommend this place, but not if you're in a hurry. BTW, they also do take-out.More

Stopped into the Brass Buckle after playing golf nearby. This place has great ambience and terrific Mexican food. The building was built in 1805 and the servers were extremely friendly. My friend and I both had the Tres Chipotle Enchiladas and we really loved it....If you're looking for great Mexican food with great atmosphere definitely try this excellent restaurant.More

Food is decent. but there doesn't seem to be any adults in charge. Reservations mean nothing. Avoid the second floor at all costs. You'll be waiting forever

My wife and I drove up from Pittston because the food looked amazing on instagram. Unfortunately when we got our food nothing could be further from that. I ordered the sirloin chimichangas and they were filled with cold flavorless rice and 2 to 3 of...the smallest strips of steak I have ever seen. 15.99 for something that isn't even as good as the Taco Bell dollar menu is ridiculous. No sides, no chips and salsa. Do yourself a favor and drive to Burrito Loco or La Tolteca. Horrible value and even worse tasting food.More

We stopped there for dinner and were really happy with the food. The fish tacos were wonderful as were the buffalo tacos. Service was friendly and efficient and the prices were reasonable. We'd go there again.

I visit here at least once a month and it’s always good. The street tacos are my favorites and have been consistently delicious every single time. I recommend getting the buffalo Taquitos too as they are awesome! They have great specials throughout the week like...half price appetizers and half price margaritas if you’re really looking for a deal. The service is great but they can get very busy and it might take a while for good and drinks but nothing to worry about! You come here to have fun with friends!!More

We love the brass buckle. The nicest staff. Amazing burgers and a killer fish taco. Even the side salad is awesome. And the new ranch with the dill in it - I’m in love! Never disappoint!

We were in town for a wedding and happened upon this cute restaurant! We enjoyed our food immensely and the staff were very welcoming. We even came back the second night to try more dishes!! This tiny town has great restaurant in their backyard!! The...seafood burrito was a delicious blend of cheeses and seafood! We also had the alligator tacos which were yummy and fried to perfection. Our second night we had the chicken and avocado salad and the Tijuana salad both were good choices. The Tijuana salad allows you to adjust the heat level to your taste, a 5 has heat so unless you like it hot, hot, hot don't go above a 5!! We had a wonderful waitress Cassandra who did a great job of making us feel welcome and on our second night she even remembered us and what we had ordered to drink the previous night. We will be back the next time we pass through.More

The place was packed with enthusiastic locals so I will try again...thinking maybe it was just what we ordered. The waitress was very helpful despite how busy she was The Halloween decorations upon entrance made the tripMore

Super cute local hangout with mex-American cuisine. Decent food with great margaritas. Can be on the expensive side and always a long wait for food, service is also usually slow.

My wife and I and many of our friends have been regular visitors of the Brass Buckle for many years. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks, and service, but primarily enjoyed the food. But our most recent visit was less than substandard, and I...believe it will be a very, very long time before we visit again, if ever again. We were seated quickly outside (our preference) and warmly greeted by the host and waitress. It was a beautiful evening to have a meal on the outdoor patio. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We started with margaritas. Mine was traditional, hers frozen mango, although it came out on the rocks, but it was still good. Mine was almost all water, terrible. So I got a second, that I was charged for, and it was much better like it always tasted. The chicken nacho appetizer we ordered was poor. Just globs of cheese over chips and chicken. No pico to give it flavor, sorry sour cream doesn’t add flavor. I asked for some and was given salsa, which I was also charged extra for, and it did make them somewhat better. The worst part of them was the chicken. It was all dark, greasy meat. Dark meat chicken, really? That is the worst quality to serve. It had a horrible, almost spoiled taste. The same can be said for my chicken asada burrito and enchilada. Filled with dark chicken meat, that was greasy and tasted spoiled. The spicy part of the meal was in the sauce, not the chicken, and it was an overwhelming drenching of hot sauce in the enchilada sauce. These entrees were never, ever prepared like this. Highly disappointed. My wife’s fish tacos were the usual excellent so I don’t know what the problem was. If the poor quality of my food and drink was the result of it being too busy at the restaurant, the I would advise cutting off the number of tables you serve and make everyone else wait until a table is available. Or someone needs to operate quality control in the kitchen. I will not be going back which is sad because of my past experience and the limited number of good restaurants in our area. I do not mind paying top dollar for a meal and an enjoyable night out as long as the quality of the food and drink are worth it. I am very disappointed.More
