A few steps up to the entrance from the sidewalk, is a venue that is both a neighborhood and.......destination mainstay in this western suburban community. A Pre Fixe, BYOB that offers an excellent, reasonably priced menu all freshly prepared in a small, compact open kitchen by it imaginatively creative chef. With a combination of "high top" and normal table seating,... More

We have loved Fayette Street Grill for nearly 20 years! And we just had an amazing three course dinner there. What's not to like? The appetizer course featured two old favorites - Hot Crab Dip - Salad with delicious ingredients. But there were four more to choose from. The entree selection was impressive. My wife flipped over a new shrimp... More

Let's face it -- there are many places to eat and many lunches cost around $10 for a sandwich it seems. Myself and two coworkers visited yesterday and had a fantastic lunch. The burger was tops and so was the Rachel sandwich! Appeared to be fresh-cut french fries too. The experience was much better than I anticipated and this restaurant... More

It had been 4 months since we last went to FSG. It was great then. What the heck happened. This time was awful. There were 4 of us. Two people ordered fish. They both sent them back it was so bad. The replacement meals were mediocre at best. The appetizers were mediocre. My wife ordered a cake that was simply... More

My wife and I ate at the Fayette Street Grill, as it's become a "must" breakfast stop when visiting Conshy. Walking past the counter overlooking the "work" area is a throwback to earlier days. It always seems busy, but we didn't have a wait and had our coffee/tea immediately. My wife had sunny side up eggs and I had their... More

We have not visited FSG in quite awhile and I can't imagine why not. The spring menu was introduced the night prior to our visit and it is a WOW!! Plus there are specials. It is a small but warm and welcoming place. We were lucky enough to be seated next to the kitchen and we could watch the magic!... More

Yes it is price fixed menu but the choices are numerous and span from rack of lamb to strip steak. The stuffed pork chop was tender and favorable with a side of green beans and wonderful mashed sweet potatoes The waitress was very knowledgable about all three courses and service was not rushed

Went here after a relative recommended it for dinner. Such a great overall experience I can't rave about it enough! The service was top notch- I have never had a friendlier or more personable waitress. It is a BYO (with no cork fee) and the menu is a set price and if you do not want the dessert option you... This restaurant is really a wonderful place. It's a BYOB. The meal is a 3 course meal, and everything is so delicious! Their fish and steak are great, and the escargot is truly delicious. You have a choice of an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I have also been here for lunch and it's very good.

We have gone there at least once a month since they opened. Always have the best meals. Love Leah as our waitress. BYOB Never had a bad meal. Comes with three courses, appetizer, entree and dessert. Not enough room to list meals. They are all great!
