The food and atmosphere are top. Notch! You kind if forget that you are in town and feel like you are away somewhere. Very relaxing, a shame that it is so overpriced that we can only do it once in a while.

Dear Nancy. Thank you for the great review! we greatly appreciate it. Unfortunately people believe mexican food supposed to be cheap, however, great food takes great high quality product and help, plus all the expenses involved with keeping our location and Patio "Top Noch" I am happy you can appreciate that, however I believe we are priced right where we... I have no skin in the game here, but as someone who lives here and has dined here multiple times for lunch and dinner...here's what this place is. Nice ambiance/bar/patio scene with average service, average to above average food, and expensive prices. I think the owners quickly realized no one is coming to this place to buy a 17 dollar... Mr Five Vacas. I appreciate you taking the time to review our restaurant, and I value your opinion. To be in business for 20 years takes a tremendous amount of effort. You are Right to say we are not "Cheap", We do not offer or sell food like taco bell or el limon, we sell a dining experience and the... More

Went here for a work dinner. Service was great. Suggestions of food were great. Shrimp enchilada was awesome and great size of portions. Sat outside on the porch. It's right off the road and you could miss it if you drive too fast. So go slow.

we were working in town and went here on a recommendation from someone at the office. We hadn't seen the menu so we didn't know the fare. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated. Our server, Brandon, immediately came to take our drink orders. We're in town from Texas so the menu looked very familiar, so I chose the margarita. and... More

I'm from California and my friends and colleagues were from Texas and NC and we unilaterally thought this was one of the best Mexican menus, food and service ever. The best qualities associated with a family run business. Great ambiance, very friendly and personal service and wonderful dinner. The shrimp were tender and tasty, jalapeño poppers unlike any I have... More

We have eaten there several times - brunch and dinner -- and we have never been disappointed. The food is very tasty! Don't forget to try one of the specialty cocktails when you are there. The portions are generous. If it's a nice night and there is availability, you might want to sit outside. We have never had an issue... More

This place is terrible. We will never return. It is a backyard experience and worse than backyard food...for fine dining prices. The entrance is awful. You can't even tell where you are supposed to go. Once inside there is a hostess stand with no hostess. The servers were needing to seat people and then also be their server. This is... More

Unbelievably bad service. I've been there twice and both times, no drink refills, impossible to grab your waiter, everyone is either running around like nuts even on a slow night, or too busy talking to spend time at their tables. Management and staff clearly don't care about return customers. Food was okay but way over priced for such bad service.... More

Recently dined here with my husband and this was not our first time- We had reservations and were immediately seated. Arrived at 5pm..as we walked by the bar to step outside onto patio we got a whiff of a stench that would knock you over. I asked the hostess why does it smell like poop. She said sewer company down the street. She said the smell would go away around 7ish. I said it's 5. We sat down and the... More
