Hard not to love this small, neighborhood BYOB! And they do much more than seafood. The three course options are fantastic and you can pick one from each course or mix and match. Love it!!

I had a delicious dinner at this restaurant, worth of a Micheline star. Really, the best surf and turf that I tried before. The Blackfish Classic was excellent! Highly recommended! My desert, the Warm Chocolate Cake is was wonderful as well. It was a really good culinary experience in Philadelphia. Congratulations to the Chef!

We have dined at Blackfish several times, most recently to try their weekly prix fixe menu offerings. Last night, we were fully delighted by their lamb tasting. The meal began with an amuse bouche which was a leek soup. It was a great start to a menu that just got better and better. The first course were Swedish meatballs that... More

On Dec 10 we showed up at Blackfish as a party of 4 for what we thought was an 8 pm reservation. Turns out our friend had misbooked on OpenTable and Blackfish had us down for a reservation on Dec 17. Instead of just making apologies that they couldn't seat us, the hostess said she COULD squeeze us in at... More

I've been here a few times and have always been very pleased. Last night was no exception and in fact it was my most favorite. First course of beet salad, smoked salmon and tuna crudo were delicious. For second course we ordered the phenomenal sea urchin ravioli, the decadent foie gras terrine and the very satisfying risotto. Third course was... More

My husband and I had been to Blackfish multiple times before, but it had been a while. On a whim we went this evening, a Tuesday, for what we expected to be a pleasant and well-executed meal. We had no idea that the restaurant had added 5 or 7 course prix fixe options, which they were willing to tailor to... More

There were 14 people.many had never been there before. We had prearranged a prefix menu. They were very accommodating about gluten free needs and also allergy avoidance needs. The waiters, Steven and Nancy were wonderful. It is always difficult when there are so many people. They handled everything perfectly and very professionally. They met all our "demands". Before we even... More

One of our very favorite restaurants...we hadn't been there for some months and we were treated to a fantastic meal...truly special from start to finish! I started with the roasted beet salad..presented with panache...almost too beautiful to eat! My husband started with the oysters...exquisite! We were served warm focaccia and house baked sour dough...delicious! Second course we both ordered the... More

It was a Sunday night and the Chef must have been in an extra generous mood or something because we ended up getting 2 amuse bouche – both being delicious. The first was a Cape May Oyster with Lime Foam; the next a Tomato Salad from the last of the chef’s garden with a small dollop of a creamy cheese.... More

Make a reservation because this restaurant was filled to capacity on a Saturday night. Unbelievable service, fabulous fish food prepared and plated to perfection. We chose not to partake of the tasting menu but were delighted with almost all we were served. The smoked salmon appetizer was a bit too salty. This BYOB restaurant was to die for. Don't forget...
