One of our very favorite restaurants...we hadn't been there for some months and we were treated to a fantastic meal...truly special from start to finish! I started with the roasted beet salad..presented with panache...almost too beautiful to eat! My husband started with the oysters...exquisite! We were served warm focaccia and house baked sour dough...delicious! Second course we both ordered the... More

It was a Sunday night and the Chef must have been in an extra generous mood or something because we ended up getting 2 amuse bouche – both being delicious. The first was a Cape May Oyster with Lime Foam; the next a Tomato Salad from the last of the chef’s garden with a small dollop of a creamy cheese.... More

Make a reservation because this restaurant was filled to capacity on a Saturday night. Unbelievable service, fabulous fish food prepared and plated to perfection. We chose not to partake of the tasting menu but were delighted with almost all we were served. The smoked salmon appetizer was a bit too salty. This BYOB restaurant was to die for. Don't forget... I can't believe I just got around to eating here. The wonderfulness that I've been missing out on! Shame on me. We made a relatively spontaneous reservation here on Saturday and the experience lived up to the hype. It's BYOB which I love, too. Service was very attentive (though the bread fiend that I am- I would have loved another... More

It was our first visit but it had been highly recommended as a BYO which my husband had researched. We went early on Sunday evening and decided on the five course tasting menu. Everything was delicious, well-served and wait staff and hostess were quite attentive and friendly. Others had described it as overpriced with small portions but we disagree. With... More

I really enjoyed our dinner at this BYOB in Conshohocken. It has been quite awhile since my last visit and I am happy to say the experience was still excellent. We shared alot of food starting with the asparagus and the tuna crudo appetizers and then the pork terrine second course. We finished with dinners of the duck and the... More

BYOB, $2 corkage. The food was excellent, but the portions were small for the price. I had snails and grilled tuna, both worth repeating. My wife has tuna crudo and smoked salmon, also very good. The service was excellent, too.

The service and staff were wonderful, however I did not care for the food. The fish was very fishy and tasted sour. The dish came with two sprigs of asparagus and a half teaspoon size of quinoa which seemed very chintzy. There aren't any side dishes listed on the menu or I would have paid extra for a side. I... For five years my wife and I have made an annual pilgrimage to Blackfish- Chef Roman's first restaurant and its still our favorite. Aaron the white haired old friend was missing today-but Veronica served well in his stead. Its likely our last time at this surprising wonder in the burbs of Philly--and today we opted for the 5 course tasting... More
