Wonderful New Orleans cajun food. Spicy when expected, great flavors, wonderful assortment of classic food.

I had seen this place online and was intrigued. Hmmm - Paul Prudhomme's nephew opened a cajun restaurant in central Pennsylvania? My husband is always ready for a good gumbo, so off we went and we weren't disappointed. My husband says it was his best gumbo ever. Our waitress, a real sweetheart, asked if he minded heat and he said... More

Great atmosphere and great food! Cajun is the style and it's never been a bad experience! Different special and they also have a bar!

Let me start by saying I really wanted to like this place, as I love Cajun food. The front entrance to this place is a bit sketchy, the piece of paper taped to door states. Kitchen closing at 9 due to the heat. (Ahh I see you’re too cheap to air condition your kitchen.) Whatever and we proceeded to enter.... More

This may be the most difficult review I've done. With one or two exceptions, the food has always been great. After going there several times I thought I'd try the all-you-can-eat fish fry. When I asked for a second helping of fish and frizzled onions the owner came to our table and explained "Only the fish is all-you-can-eat. Haven't you... More

The surprise is the the food is so good and authentic. The portions are good, the drinks better. Live music and a festive atmosphere make it that much more enjoyable. There is a kids menu but Late night is for adults

I am one of Columbia's native sons, but I've been living in New Orleans and wallowing in their culture for the past 34 years. Last weekend, I traveled home and decided to try out Prudhomme's Lost Cajun Kitchen. Believe me when I say that they've done a first class job of adapting Cajun cooking to the Lancaster County palate. If... More

We took my Mom here for her birthday. I had heard so much about this restaurant, and I was looking forwarding to eating dinner there, since we are fans of Cajun food. I made a reservation the day before, and when we arrived, there was no record of our reservation. The staff seemed frazzled and disorganized. The gumbo was very... More

I went to Prudhomme's with high hopes. I love Cajun food. The gumbo was terrible. The jambalaya was just so-so. The only thing that was good and made this meal rating average instead of poor was the frog legs which were very good.
