We took my Mom here for her birthday. I had heard so much about this restaurant, and I was looking forwarding to eating dinner there, since we are fans of Cajun food. I made a reservation the day before, and when we arrived, there was no record of our reservation. The staff seemed frazzled and disorganized. The gumbo was very... More

I went to Prudhomme's with high hopes. I love Cajun food. The gumbo was terrible. The jambalaya was just so-so. The only thing that was good and made this meal rating average instead of poor was the frog legs which were very good.

On m'cycles passing through town and spotted this Cajun place - we are fsmiliar w the LA Prudhommes. Steer parking only but no problem. It was mid afternoon on Sunday and we had the place almost to ourselves. Large menu, good beer selection. We settled o n snapper soup, red beans and rice and a chicken and shrimp dish -... More

Visited on a Saturday evening as a busy period was winding down. Our server was very helpful, including trying to find me an option that was gluten free (the online menu showed some options that were not on the current menu in use). Portion size was hefty, had all the classic ingredients - my fiancee said the alligator was better... More

I went there expecting to have some black beans and rice New Orleans style but was disappointed. The service was gruff, the food was rough. I won't be returning.

We've eaten here before and had much better food, but our last visit was disappointing. The food was okay, but nothing special. It was rather blase, which is not how we first experienced Prudhomme's Lost Cajun Kitchen.

My husband and I have loved going to this restaurant but recently we paid two trips there and were disappointed both times. First we purchased a bygo online from a radio station and decided to use it last Tuesday evening. The owner informed us when he seated us that they had rescheduled their Mardi Gras evening from the previous week... More

It had been a couple of years since I went to Prudhomme's, but was reacquainted with this excellent restaurant in December. The food was even better than I remembered (it was always good!) and I will definitely be going back again soon for some more shrimp sunny. Recommended!

I really enjoyed the food, raring to go back and try more of the menu. I started off with the sauteed gator tail. Very tender with lots of garlic, onions and peppers. Far superior to any gator I've had before. Then I had an excellent gumbo. After that I had Catfish Prudhomme. Good to the last bite! It was accompanied... More
