From the service to the food- we were impressed. Valet parking and the Dyson hand dryers were both enigmas in this off the beaten path pub. After we had left it dawned on us, both were part of a great effort to make the experience memorable. Highly recommend The Whip if you are looking for a great local pub, with... More

We were craving a bit of the old English countryside so we went out to the Whip. We always seem to think it's a long trip when really it's an enjoyable, scenic drive that gets us some great beer, a lovely meal and a pretty view. Pros: -traditional English pub menu with plenty of options both in terms of menu... More

The Whip continues to impress. Great pub atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent brews. Delicious food. My wife started with soup of the day, gazpacho, and loved it. The phrase Hidden Gem takes on a new meaning trying to find this place. It is located in the country outside of Coatesville PA but the GPS got us there uneventfully. And it was worth the lovely back roads journey! The staff told us it was once a biker bar but no longer - it has been transformed into a... More

Whip Tavern is a great out of the way British style pub. You pretty much need to know its there because you will not stumble on it by accident. We recently went there on a Sunday afternoon at 4PM for a late lunch/early dinner on and expected to find the place empty. We were wrong, it was packed and we... More

Frequently stop here for a pint and something to eat. Everything on the menu is delicious. Great place to hit during the summer to sit on the patio.

I brought a few friends to the Whip Sunday July 10 2016 lovely patio, but had to send veggie burgers back it was sooo horrible, tasted like a terrible can cold hummus pattie with some sparce black beans thrown in, then the sever argued with us, until we were able to replace with another choice, no real compensation, or apology...............none...
