We visited this restaurant today, and it was a five star experience all around! There weren't many people there, and I was a bit surprised. Perhaps the people of Chambersburg don't know that such a good restaurant is located on Wayne Avenue. At any rate, we were promptly greeted by the owners and seated. Both of the owners were very... This restaurant was closed for some time due to a fire in the building. I'm glad they are back! Very good Indian food and a nice atmosphere. I haven't been to the brunch buffet but hear that it is really good.

My friend and I went in for lunch and ordered from the menu one I cannot tell you how delicious it was! Meat samosas to die for! Mulligatawny soup so very good. I had lamb saag and my friend had lamb buratti full of flavor. David is the owner and was so kind to us. Please don't miss this place!... More

So glad that they are back open! We had a great Indian dinner. Garlic naan and Malai Kofta were fantastic. Service was prompt and welcoming.

Our experience at Bombay was very poor. We arrived at the height of dinner time to a basically empty restaurant. We ordered the goat biryani and tried the naan which was ok - beware of small bones in the biryani. The vegetables, however, were not good. Half cooked carrots with half cooked cucumbers seemed a bit odd to me, especially... More

I have tried to stop by 4 separate times this month. It is closed. Not sure if re-opening, which is a shame as it was very good food and the only Indian Cuisine in the area.

I used to love Bombay Dining and would eat there as much as five times a week. When it changed owners last year the quality of the food became so bad it was not even edible. Last week I drove the 20 miles to get there after deciding to give them another chance. The place was closed and the closed... More

Excellent flavour, food, variety, service, catering. Staff are always friendly, chatty & familiar with us. The food just has to be experienced for yourself. Not overly priced, I'd say its reasonable. You get a an all you can eat buffet!

Indian food is a "mouth surprise" of spices and seasonings. Some are spicey (hot) yet the cook will make them to your heat tolerance if you ask. The owner is pleasant and will lead you through the menu if you let him know that you are new to his kind of food and would like help in selecting your meal.... More

I found this place on a business trip and the draw was proximity to my hotel with the possibility of good Indian food. I had mulligatawny soup and should have walked out after the first taste. Luckily I had a beer with me and they provided a large glass of water. The mixed grill was hot and one piece of... More
